The All-Continent Genius Soul Master Tournament?
"Sister Qian, I'll go back and prepare the materials now. I'll have someone send over the Pill Recipes tomorrow, and I'll also fill out the Sect Application Form while I'm at it."
"Go ahead." Qian Renxue lowered her head and continued reviewing official documents.
Jiang Lan carried Doro to the door, then suddenly remembered something and stopped, turning back to call out to Qian Renxue.
"Sister Qian."
Qian Renxue looked up at him.
"Once my Body Sect is established, you can bestow upon me the title of king," Jiang Lan grinned. "It doesn't need to be too grand, just a Commandery Prince will do."
Qian Renxue didn't reply, but just glanced at him before lowering her head to continue writing.
Jiang Lan didn't expect her to agree on the spot, and ran out of the study with Doro in her arms.
He jogged along the corridor, crossed the front courtyard, ran out of the Crown Prince's Residence's residence, stopped on Vermilion Bird Street, and took out the Land Sale Contract from his pocket to look at it.
"Doro," Jiang Lan held up the Land Sale Contract to Doro, "We have land now."
Doro leaned closer to look at the paper, blinked his big purple eyes, and uttered a noncommittal "Doro."
The gist of it is: You don't know how to farm, so what do you need land for?
"We'll establish a sect, huh?" Jiang Lan put the Land Sale Contract back into his pocket and patted it. "From now on, you'll be the vice sect leader of the Body Sect."
Doro tilted his head and wagged his tail twice.
The gist of the translation is: Does the deputy sect leader receive a salary?
"Yes, thirty catties of Ju Zi a month."
Doro nodded in satisfaction.
One person and one soul walked along Vermilion Bird Street towards Honey Snow Ice City.
After returning, Jiang Lan found Ning Rongrong and asked Ning Rongrong to help him write Sect Application Form.
Although Ning Rongrong didn't understand why Jiang Lan wanted to establish a sect, she still helped him fill out the application form.
Jiang Lan compiled several Pill Recipes, all of which were basic Pill Recipes.
Jiang Lan knew that giving him some powerful advice was completely useless.
The development of Pill in the Douluo Continent is currently in the pill stage, which simply means rolling medicine into pills.
For Qian Renxue to obtain those powerful Pill Recipes was like obtaining a blank sheet of paper.
The next day, Jiang Lan handed the application form and the Pill Recipes to Qian Renxue.
Qian Renxue took the stack of things Jiang Lan handed her and casually flipped through them.
The application form was filled out crookedly, but the information was still complete, including the sect name, inherited Martial Soul, address, and a list of powerful figures stationed there.
The column for the strongest individuals listed Jiang Lan's name had a note in parentheses indicating level 65, written in smaller characters than elsewhere, as if to avoid being seen.
The Pill Recipes were written neatly, each one indicating the proportions of the ingredients and the refining steps, much more detailed than she had expected. Qian Renxue glanced at them, put them in the drawer, and looked up at Jiang Lan, who was leaning on the edge of the table.
"I've accepted the items. The land deed and Sect Registration Document will be delivered to Honey Snow Ice City within three days," Qian Renxue said.
"Thank you, Sister Qian." Jiang Lan nodded and was about to jump off the low stool when she was stopped by her.
Qian Renxue took another file out of the drawer, placed it on the table, and pushed it in front of him.
"Take a look at this first."
Jiang Lan climbed onto the low stool, leaned over the edge of the table, and opened the file.
The file was neatly copied in regular script, with a large line at the top reading. "All-Continent Genius Soul Master Tournament Regulations."
"The All-Continent Genius Soul Master Tournament?" Jiang Lan read it aloud.
"It was decided some time ago." Qian Renxue leaned back, resting her hands on her knees. "The Clear Sky Sect, Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect Clear Sky Sect, Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan, Heaven Dou Empire, Star Luo Empire, and Spirit Hall jointly initiated this event. Ostensibly, it's to promote exchange among Soul Master across the continent, but in reality, it's a competition among the younger generation of each side. The age limit for participants is under thirty, and it's divided into individual and team competitions."
Jiang Lan continued reading.
The regulations stipulate that the competition will be held one year from now in Spirit City, and will be hosted by the Spirit Hall.
Each of the six major factions sent a representative team, with seven members per team plus two substitutes.
In addition, there is a free registration channel, where disciples of sects outside the six major powers and individual Soul Master can also register to participate.
"You want me to participate?" Jiang Lan looked up at Qian Renxue.
"It's not about you participating," Qian Renxue said, "It's about you representing the Heaven Dou Empire."
Jiang Lan was taken aback.
"I am from Sea God Island," Jiang Lan said.
"You've just founded the Body Sect." Qian Renxue looked at him. "The Body Sect is based within the Heaven Dou Empire, making you a sect of the Heaven Dou Empire. You are rightfully representing the Heaven Dou Empire in battle."
Jiang Lan thought about it and felt that there didn't seem to be anything wrong with it.
"Furthermore," Qian Renxue added, "You just said you wanted to be crowned a king. The champion of the All-Continent Genius Soul Master Tournament, first place in both the individual and team competitions—is that enough to be crowned a king? You decide for yourself."
Jiang Lan's eyes lit up.
"You mean, if I win the championship, you'll make me king?"
"I didn't say that." Qian Renxue picked up her teacup and took a sip. "But the ministers in the court will say that. You won the championship and brought glory to the Heaven Dou Empire. It's not unreasonable to bestow upon you the title of Commandery Prince."
Jiang Lan jumped down from the low stool and paced back and forth in the study twice, her short hands behind her back, her face full of calculation.
"Each team has seven members. I can bring Sister Yanyan, Sister Lingling, and Sister Zhuqing," he counted on his fingers. "Add me and Doro, and we're still two short."
"Doro counts?" Qian Renxue asked.
"Yes." Jiang Lan nodded. "She is my Martial Soul, and also an independent combatant. She merges with me during the Martial Soul Fusion Skill, and she can fight alone when we're apart."
Qian Renxue didn't ask any further questions; she simply took the document back and put it back in the drawer.
"The competition isn't urgent; there are still six months. First, establish the Body Sect, recruit a few people, and get the framework in place. Registering under the Body Sect's name will look much better than individual registration."
"Alright." Jiang Lan picked up Doro and waved her little hand at Qian Renxue. "Then I'll go back and get busy. Take your time looking at the Pill Recipes. If you don't understand anything, just have the guard call me."
"Go ahead." Qian Renxue lowered her head and opened the next official document.
Jiang Lan ran to the door, then suddenly stopped.
"Sister Qian."
Qian Renxue looked up.
"Thank you." Jiang Lan said this very seriously, without her usual playful tone.
Qian Renxue glanced at him for a moment, then lowered her head and continued writing.
"Stop talking nonsense and get to work."
Jiang Lan grinned, picked up Doro, and ran out of the study.
Running out of the Crown Prince's Residence's residence, Jiang Lan stood on Vermilion Bird Street, picked up Doro, and spun it around.
"Doro, we're going to establish a sect! And we're going to participate in the All-Continent Genius Soul Master Tournament!"
Doro thrashed about in his hand a couple of times, letting out a series of dissatisfied grumbles.
The gist of it is: Put me down first, I haven't finished eating my Ju Zi.
Jiang Lan put Doro on the ground and pulled Doro along, running towards Honey Snow Ice City.
He wanted to tell Ning Rongrong and the others about this.
