Background

Doro appeared during Jiang Lan's Martial Soul awakening as a strange, stuffed-toy-like creature beside his Body Martial Soul. Jiang Lan recognized her as the unusual character he had watched in short videos before his transmigration. Unlike an ordinary Martial Soul, Doro immediately displayed affection and independent behavior toward him. 1

Her harmless appearance initially confused Sea God Island's soul masters. While Jiang Lan received the Sea God's Nine Trials, Doro simply yawned, curled up on his shoulder, and fell asleep. Within Slaughter City, Doro absorbs the surrounding energy until her body begins trembling with alternating heat and cold. A dark-red cocoon encloses her, silver-white light pierces it, and the city's blood mist flows toward their alley. Jiang Lan pulls her from the dispersing mist and holds her while she recovers. 146
