Soul Ring selection is based on a Soul Beast’s age, attributes, and compatibility with the user’s Martial Soul. Wang Chen initially seeks strength-type Soul Beasts for Wang Tianyi’s staff-wielding Beast Martial Souls, while Wang Tianyi prioritizes the superior bloodlines of the Cosmic White Ape and Black Demon Armored Dragon. 5

Age, Color, and Absorption Limits

• Soul Ring age affects its appearance and power. Wang Tianyi’s first ring is dark yellow with a faint purple trace after reaching an effective age above 900 years. 7
• Yu Xiaogang cites 423 years as the conventional maximum age for a first Soul Ring, but Wang Tianyi’s first ring visibly exceeds that threshold. 12
• Physical resilience can allow a Soul Master to exceed conventional limits. Wang Tianyi argues that his strengthened body and External Soul Bone let him endure the six-hundred-year Cosmic White Ape ring. 6
• A Soul Beast’s combat strength can exceed its age classification. The poisoned six-hundred-year Cosmic White Ape is stated to possess strength comparable to a thousand-year Soul Beast. 6
• Wang Tianyi’s system can enhance a chosen Soul Ring’s age. Selecting a Soul Beast over 500 years old grants an additional 300 years to the first ring. 5 7

Twin Martial Soul Requirement

Wang Tianyi’s Heaven-Equaling and Six Ears Martial Souls must remain balanced. If one gains a Soul Ring while the other does not, their internal conflict intensifies and threatens Wang Tianyi’s consciousness. 5 7

• Soul Rings for both Martial Souls must be attached within three days of one another. 5
• After Qi Tian receives its first ring, it suppresses Six Ears within Wang Tianyi’s Spiritual Sea, causing extreme mental pain and nearly making him lose consciousness. 7
• Absorbing Six Ears’ first ring restores enough balance to significantly reduce the pain. 8
