Background / History

Di Tian is the son of the Dark and Light Dragon Kings. During his youth, the Dragon God personally instructed him in cultivation, taught him Dragon God’s Claw, and appointed him captain of his personal guard with the responsibility of protecting the Dragon Clan. He also knew the Ice and Fire Dragon Kings, whom he addresses as “Aunt” and “Uncle” 16 129.

After the Silver Dragon King split from the Dragon God, Di Tian carried her away to Douluo Star before she had even opened her eyes. Gu Yuena subsequently remained asleep, while Di Tian continued serving her in Star Dou Forest 110.

Despite reaching eight hundred thousand years of cultivation, Di Tian cannot ascend because Soul Beasts are forbidden from becoming gods. Increasingly dangerous heavenly tribulations also force him to suppress his cultivation rather than advance freely. His protectiveness is especially apparent toward Xiao Xiao and the Three-Eyed Golden Lion.
