Once they were certain the Ancestral Dragon had truly left, Manjushri and the Ape Ancestor both turned their gazes toward Shen Luo. A faint trace of hesitation showed in the former's eyes, while the latter brazenly swept his gaze back and forth between Shen Luo and Nie Caizhu.
Sun Granny glanced at the two, inwardly sensing trouble. She could not read anything from Manjushri, but the Ape Ancestor's appraising gaze was clearly assessing Shen Luo and Nie Caizhu's strength and weighing whether to strike.
"Fellow Daoist Shen, since we have already formed an alliance, please speak freely if you need anything," Sun Granny said at just the right moment.
