Zhu Zhuqing came to Shrek Academy after years of fearing that Dai Mubai had abandoned their shared struggle. Although she had heard rumors of his poor reputation, she remained determined to continue alone if necessary. After meeting him, she accepted his explanation that he had been lying low to deceive Dai Weisi and protect their chance in the throne succession conflict. 2 5

Her restored trust allowed her and Dai Mubai to cultivate in synchrony and awaken the Hell White Tiger Martial Soul Fusion Skill. Their connection became central to both their cultivation and their political ambitions. 6 11

Zhu Zhuqing initially feared that her slower progress would leave her unable to face Zhu Zhuyun or would make her a burden to Dai Mubai. That anxiety drove her to dangerously accelerate her Soul Power during fusion cultivation, until Dai Mubai regulated her circulation and prevented serious injury. 20

After Dai Mubai's victories demonstrated that he could contend with far stronger opponents, Zhu Zhuqing gained confidence that they could win the throne succession war. 34 Her martial soul later evolved through a Sub-Grade Martial Soul Evolution Device, allowing the pair to form the more powerful Nine Nether White Tiger. 45
