Dai Mubai entered Shrek Academy alongside Zhu Zhuqing, whom he openly called his wife. Though known for a decadent past, he had become confident, disciplined, and determined to protect their relationship. He served as an examiner during the academy's entrance combat exam. 3 4

He and Zhu Zhuqing restored their synchronization and developed Hell White Tiger, their Martial Soul Fusion Skill. Their mutual trust became central to their cultivation, allowing them to pursue Dual Cultivation and later evolve their fusion into the Nine Nether White Tiger. 6 21 50

Preparing for the Star Luo throne succession conflict, Dai Mubai left Shrek with Zhu Zhuqing for half a year of training. Dai Mubai is decisive, ambitious, and highly pragmatic. He trains relentlessly, pursues strength aggressively, and carefully evaluates resources, allies, and risks before acting. He refused to cooperate with Yu Xiaogang when accused of using drugs, choosing to assert his own boundaries rather than submit to an intrusive examination. 6 15

He is deeply protective of Zhu Zhuqing and consistently prioritizes her safety, from keeping her close in dangerous forests to fighting beside her against imperial assassins.
