Ming Qiuxue rested his fingers on the energy gun at his waist.

He met Lu Mi's icy gaze, cold light glittering in his golden eyes.

"Warden Lu, Yu Tu is a prisoner of my Second Prison."

A month ago, Ming Qiuxue had received orders from his superiors: First Commander Yu Tu would be escorted to the Second Prison, where Ming Qiuxue would be responsible for interrogating and guarding him.

Lu Mi flexed with the whip in hand. Every so often, a crackling sound came from within his body. Beneath his officer's uniform lay terrifying strength concealed in his muscles, issuing the most straightforward warning to Ming Qiuxue.

"But what can I do? 0456 entered through the gates of my First Prison. He is mine."

"Lu Mi! Can you bear the consequences of defying orders from above?"

Lu Mi returned the whip to his waist and walked toward Ming Qiuxue. Several strange black markings suddenly emerged across his handsome left cheek.

He raised his hand swiftly, spreading the fingers of his right hand before clenching them into a fist. The instant he did, black energy rapidly gathered and lengthened from the center of his palm.

With a snap.

He stopped one meter in front of Ming Qiuxue, the energy whip in his hand fully formed.

With a flick of his wrist, Lu Mi wrapped the whip around a bench against the wall and flung it straight out the door!

The moment it flew out, the whip lashed out. Before the bench could hit the ground, it had turned into a pile of dust!

The violent criminals out for exercise trembled.

Condensing a Source-Energy Weapon from the power of one's Energy Source was one of the hallmarks of a Diamond Energy Master.

Every Diamond Energy Master's Source-Energy Weapon was different. Lu Mi's Source-Energy Weapon was called the Dark Whip.

The black markings on Lu Mi's face were also known as energy patterns.

Whenever an Energy Master used their Energy Source, energy patterns would appear on their body.

Lu Mi stared into Ming Qiuxue's eyes and said firmly, "0456 can only fall into my hands. Besides..."

He smiled carelessly. "Defying orders from above? Didn't they personally deliver him to the First Prison?"

Ming Qiuxue stared at him quietly for a moment. "Fine. Give me a reason to get the hell out."

Lu Mi bared his teeth.

"The former First Commander, now a Level One violent criminal, is that... scumbag ex-boyfriend who fucked me, pulled up his pants and left, then dumped me on an abandoned trash planet to fend for myself. Is that enough of a reason for you to get the hell out?"

Ming Qiuxue: "...Fine. We're leaving."

Ming Qiuxue turned and strode out through the inner building's main entrance.

Outside, Black Shadow had appeared at some point and was lying against the wall, licking its iron claws.

When it saw Ming Qiuxue, it stopped, lazily glanced at him, then went back to licking its paws.

Ming Qiuxue snorted. "Stupid dog."

A hissing sound came from inside Ming Qiuxue's clothes.

A tiny golden snake head poked out from his collar and flicked its tongue at Black Shadow. Its golden eyes, the same color as Ming Qiuxue's, brimmed with provocation.

Golden Eye, Ming Qiuxue's pet mech.

Ming Qiuxue's awakened Energy Source was a Diamond-Grade Golden Python.

Black Shadow instantly bristled, arching its back and growling low at Golden Eye.

Ming Qiuxue showed no mercy and kicked it square in the face. "Shut up."

"Awwooo..."

Black Shadow dragged its tail along the ground and trudged miserably toward Lu Mi, rubbing its head against its master's calf in search of comfort.

Lu Mi withdrew the Dark Whip and sneered. "Pathetic."

Then he turned away without mercy and headed toward the Single-Cell Prison.

The two prison officers followed.

The "Soundless Path" was removed.

Cell 5 was quiet. The irritating sound of someone kicking the door had finally stopped.

Lu Mi stepped back. "Open the door."

A prison officer stepped forward to open it.

The cell door slowly opened. Lu Mi lowered his head and raised a hand to adjust his leather gloves. As he smoothed out their wrinkles, he said, "0456, have you learned to behave now?"

The next second, cracks appeared in his calm expression, and Lu Mi's face changed.

After an Energy Master awakened, their body would undergo varying changes because of their Energy Source. Lu Mi's Energy Source was a Diamond-Grade Black Panther, making him exceptionally sensitive to smells.

For example, right now.

Lu Mi smelled an overpowering scent of blood.

Lu Mi looked into the cell. The room was neat and orderly. Yu Tu was nowhere to be seen; only the bathroom door was shut tight, and the smell of blood was coming from there.

He lifted his foot and strode toward the bathroom.

The bathroom door was locked from the inside. He punched straight through it, unlocked it from within, and opened the door.

The instant the door swung open, Lu Mi's brow jumped violently.

Yu Tu's officer's uniform was in complete disarray. His diamond medal had been thrown onto the floor, his sash was torn in two, and he clutched a ripped-off showerhead in his arms. Countless bloody gashes covered every inch of visible skin, and even his face was crisscrossed with several claw marks.

The most horrifying one was at the corner of his mouth, nearly cutting half his face open.

He was currently sitting slumped in the innermost corner of the bathroom, his red eyes unfocused as he repeatedly licked the blood seeping from his wounds with the tip of his tongue.

The shackles on his wrists and ankles clinked softly with his movements.

As he licked, Yu Tu murmured, "...I want water... I want water..."

Perhaps sensing Lu Mi's arrival, he slowly raised his head and looked directly into Lu Mi's eyes with that gaze.

"Why... won't you give me water...?"

Lu Mi's fingertips trembled wildly. "Go get water!"

The prison officer behind him was terrified too. He froze for a moment before turning and hurrying away.

Lu Mi turned sideways and said to the other prison officer, "Get out. Close the door behind you."

The door to Cell 5 closed, and Lu Mi walked toward Yu Tu.

He crouched down, reached around behind Yu Tu's head, and grabbed his long hair, forcing him to raise his head and tilt it back. He said coldly,

"Yu Tu, you're my prisoner. Who gave you permission to punish yourself?"

Yu Tu tilted his head slightly, Lu Mi's face reflected in his red eyes.

The confusion gradually faded, replaced by desire.

Delight appeared on his face as he asked innocently, "I want to cuddle with you. Is that okay?"

Without waiting for Lu Mi's answer, he reached out to undo Lu Mi's belt.

Lu Mi raised a hand to stop him, and Yu Tu's tone turned irritated again. "Why not?!"

Lu Mi narrowed his eyes, his expression carrying a trace of scrutiny as he looked at Yu Tu.

"Yu Tu, do you know who I am?"

Yu Tu repeated, "Why not!"

Lu Mi leaned forward, bringing his lips close to Yu Tu's ear.

"Baby, do you know I'm your man?"

The cold breath made Yu Tu relax slightly. His breathing quickened a little as he raised both hands and almost impatiently wrapped them around Lu Mi's neck.

The icy handcuffs brushed past the Diamond-grade Energy Crystal at the back of Lu Mi's neck.

Instinctively, his body went rigid, every hair standing on end.

The Energy Crystal was the most sensitive part of every Energy Master.

Yu Tu tilted his head back to kiss him, but Lu Mi pressed a leather-gloved finger against his lips, keeping him away.

"Baby, don't seduce me."

"It's useless."

Lu Mi sounded as though he were whispering sweet nothings, but his voice was utterly flat.

"I won't forget how wild you were in bed, or how heartless you were outside it."

Yu Tu opened his mouth and bit down on Lu Mi's finger. Fire blazed in his red eyes, and he was deeply dissatisfied.

Lu Mi took the opportunity to push his finger farther in, nearly reaching Yu Tu's throat.

As Yu Tu gagged, Lu Mi pulled his hand back and swept him up around the waist.

Yu Tu struggled instinctively.

Lu Mi walked outside.

Expressionless, he said,

"Be good, baby. You won't be able to take violent suppression. Listen to me, okay?"
