He had no idea how much time had passed. When he woke again, everything around him was pitch-black. Through Little Butterfly's memories, Huo Hai calculated the time. It was almost dawn.
There was still plenty of time, and no one was scouting the area, so Huo Hai simply sat down quietly and began regulating his spiritual power. Even after reaching the Spirit General Realm, he still needed to cultivate to improve. Now that he had reached this realm, he could further condense and strengthen his existing star cores. He could also begin attempting to condense a new one.
Breaking through to the Spirit General Realm had greatly increased his spiritual power. After some time, he would be able to condense his fourth star core-the first one he would form in the Spirit General Realm.
When that happened, his strength would undoubtedly rise even further. As he absorbed spiritual power, Huo Hai took care not to cause too much of a disturbance. In the blink of an eye, dawn arrived, and the sun slowly rose above the horizon.
After eating some dry rations that morning, Huo Hai saw a convoy slowly emerge from the city gates. From a distance, he observed it through Little Butterfly and found many concealed crates among the wagons. Their surfaces were covered in intricate patterns. Though the crates had been hidden away, Huo Hai still recognized those patterns as spirit formations used to conceal spiritual power.
This area was still within the Windrise Kingdom, so they would not encounter any danger here. Once they reached the front lines, however, that would be another matter. After prolonged fighting and constant struggles against one another, both kingdoms had small detachments from other countries operating within their borders.
Naturally, a shipment this important had plenty of soldiers guarding it.
