He entered the Ten Thousand Demon Cavern as a Little Ghost Hall disciple and cultivated the Blood Nightmare Technique, which caused his hair to become mottled black and white. Xiao Liang is cautious, pragmatic, and highly opportunistic. He chose an impractical corpse-refining technique precisely because the Resident Evil World could supply its otherwise impossible corpse requirement; he also investigates unfamiliar forces such as Storm Market before committing himself 2 17.

He is neither conventionally heroic nor needlessly cruel. He refuses to rescue Liang Hao when doing so would only entangle him in another disciple’s conflict, yet later risks his life to save Qin Long from possession and divides Hundred Tribulations Daoist’s wealth fairly rather than betray her 4 30 35.

Xiao Liang leaves sect territory to refine zombies without attracting attention.
