Countless Marine warships surrounded the island in the open sea, their cannon muzzles aimed outward. This was Marine Headquarters, Marineford.

"Fleet Admiral Brac, urgent military report! The New World G-10 Fortress has been destroyed by the Rocks Pirates. Everyone at the fortress has been killed by the Rocks Pirates!"

A captain hurriedly shoved open the Fleet Admiral's door and rushed inside as he reported.

"What? Isn't Rocks on Hachinosu Island? How could he have destroyed the New World G-10 Fortress? Bring Admiral Steel-Bone Kong, Vice Admiral Tsuru, Sengoku, Garp, and Zephyr here at once."

Fleet Admiral Brac rubbed his brow and began reviewing the intelligence.

He wanted to see exactly how the Rocks Pirates had managed to destroy the Marine's New World G-10 Fortress while their Captain remained on Hachinosu Island.

The Marines were nowhere near as powerful as they would be more than forty years later. They had once possessed three Admirals, but Rocks had killed one, and another had retired. Now, only Admiral Steel-Bone Kong remained.

The Sengoku, Garp, and Zephyr he favored had yet to reach their peaks and were not qualified to serve as Marine Admirals.

More importantly, Brac wanted to protect the three of them. He did not want them facing the vicious Rocks.

It was simply too dangerous. One careless mistake could cost them their lives, so he wanted to wait until Sengoku and the others had fully matured before appointing them as Admirals.

Brac handed the intelligence in his hand to Steel-Bone Kong.

"The New World G-10 Fortress has been destroyed by the Rocks Pirates. Every Marine stationed there has fallen!"

Steel-Bone Kong's expression immediately changed after reading the report. With a blank face, he passed it to Sengoku and the other four.

After reading it, all four fell silent. Three thousand Marine elites had been stationed at the New World G-10 Fortress. All three thousand Marines were dead!

"Marshal, give the order. We'll enter the New World and bring Rocks back!"

After reading the report, Garp sprang to his feet and shouted furiously.

"Sit down!!!"

Steel-Bone Kong pressed Garp back into his seat.

Seeing Steel-Bone Kong's stern expression, Garp immediately wilted and obediently sat on the chair.

That was why Brac warned Steel Bone so cautiously. Even if he joined forces with Steel Bone, they still could not defeat Rocks.
