During Lu Mingfei’s repeated runs through Genji Heavy Industries, Lu Mingze contacts him through newly delivered phones. Each message calls Lu Mingfei “brother,” claims that Lu Mingze is temporarily banned while fighting a “revival match” in Hell, and promises that he will come find him afterward. Lu Mingfei never encounters him across seven hundred runs and initially treats him as a suspicious, possibly useless quest figure. 3

Lu Mingze physically appears after Lu Mingfei clears the Earth and Mountains dungeon. The system identifies him as a weakened, world-sealed Dungeon Boss unit, making Lu Mingfei immediately abandon any thought of resisting.
