Team Rainbow Rocket Attacks, Kabukicho Turns Red

A massive wave rose dozens of meters high and surged toward Manalo Stadium. It kept climbing, and the entire stadium shook violently.

The terrifying sight blotted out the sky. Panic swept through the crowd, plunging everything into chaos. Faced with a deadly disaster beyond anything they understood, all they could do was run.

Fortunately, plenty of powerful trainers were present. Ice-type Pokémon took the high ground and unleashed Ice Beam, freezing the wave solid just before it struck the stadium. Then they shattered it!

Seizing the chance, Pokémon League officials organized an orderly evacuation, directing the spectators to the other three islands and away from Melemele Island.

Before long, with help from the trainers, every spectator had been evacuated. Those who remained were mostly people who knew something about Team Rainbow Rocket.

"To think it would happen now..."

Xingye rubbed his aching head. This time, the trouble had come to his home, and as champion, he would bear the most pressure. At least it hadn't happened in the middle of a match. Still, he needed to find out what had caused it.
