The shrill alarm rose higher. The pollution, stripped of its disguise, and the dark red Terastal crystals hit them all with a suffocating sense of dread, as though their hearts were being squeezed tight.

"Mirai!"

Winged King and Iron Serpent roared. Orichalcum Pulse and Hadron Engine activated, and the surrounding Polluted Tera Energy swept toward them like a storm, engulfing them both.

Crystals covered their bodies, then burst into particles with a bang. They had used the Polluted Tera Energy to Terastalize.

But the Tera Jewels above their heads looked fractured. Though shaped like a fist and a light bulb, they radiated draconic power. The pollution had twisted them into dual-type Terastal forms!

The pressure on Koraidon surged. Under the influence of the Polluted Tera Energy, he could feel something trying to enter his body and take control.

"Cyclizar!"

Koraidon swept out an arm and scattered the incoming Tera Energy. But its particles began to gather, just as they had in the Abyss of the Asado Desert, forming Iron Valiant and Roaring Moon one after another.

Nemona still had no idea what was happening, but she threw a Poké Ball, ready to fight.

The ball clattered twice against the floor. No Pokémon came out. It was as though the ball had been locked, leaving her frozen in place.

"Hey! What is going on...?"

Penny immediately pulled out her Rotom Phone to investigate. She suspected some advanced technology had seized control of the Poké Balls and locked them down, but a moment later, panic filled her face.

"This is bad. I've never seen this program, and these Tera Energy particles carry a really strange signal. That's not even—ah! My Rotom Phone crashed!"

"So we can't use Poké Balls? How are we supposed to fight? We're not ancient Trainers... I guess
