Background

Doro appears in Qin Qi's world after opening her eyes and finding an Orange. Drawn to Qin Qi's newly manifested Orange, she immediately accepts his offer to share it and befriends Gugu Gaga. Their meeting is remembered as the origin of the friendship between the Guga Patriarch and Doro Ancestor. 7

When Snow Empress approaches the group, Doro recognizes her loneliness and offers her an Orange. Although Qin Qi must supply the fruit after Doro runs out, Snow Empress's hostility and negative emotions vanish after eating it; this begins her attachment to Doro and Qin Qi's household. 7 8

Doro treats Qin Qi as family and helps him care for visitors sent by other Doros. When Traveler Doro asks her to look after Klee, Doro insists that an ancestor must help her junior; Qin Qi accepts Klee as part of their extended family. 8 9 She later arranges for Xianyun to watch over Klee while she searches for Qin Qi and Guga during the recovery of Dodoco. 12

As the household grows, Doro remains one of its emotional centers. She helps build the home, makes a chair for Qin Qi, comforts Xue Wu with an Orange, and declares that she will never leave Qin Qi or their home. 16 25 32

Doro accompanies Qin Qi and Guga on several adventures, including the Sea God Island expedition and the Belobog incident involving Little Pudding Guga. She later receives a statue alongside Guga and Phoebe Jubi in rebuilt Belobog. 35 53 57 70

Personality

Doro is innocent, affectionate, and guided by a simple belief that Oranges can solve sadness and hardship. When Snow Empress asks about surviving a Heavenly Tribulation, Doro cannot answer the question but still tries to help by offering an Orange. 8

She is generous by instinct, sharing food with Guga as soon as they meet and treating friendship as something that should be expressed through sharing. Her kindness extends to strangers such as Snow Empress, Bo Saixi, and Xue Wu. 7 25 45

Despite her carefree nature, Doro takes her role as an ancestor seriously. She accepts responsibility for Klee and Belle when other Doro relatives ask for help, and she considers Qin Qi, Guga, and their home to be her permanent family. 9 23 32
