A Little Succubus

"What is this?"

An Abyssal Succubus—no, an Abyssal Little Succubus. A little one that had not yet come of age.

At that moment, the little one was hiding in a tree, covering her small face as she sobbed. Tears covered her face, while three Velociraptors below stared greedily at her in the tree, never relaxing for a moment.

"Waaah, Mama, Sister, where are you? Where did everyone go? Lulu is the only one left. Lulu is so scared!"

Watching the Velociraptors continuously leap upward below, the little one shut her eyes even more tightly in fear. "Waaah, Mama, Lulu is so hungry. Lulu is so scared!"

Er Dongsheng frowned as he watched the little one trembling in terror and crying without moving in the tree.

In the Abyss, Succubi were a well-known Abyssal Species. They were not particularly powerful themselves and had nothing especially outstanding about them as an Abyssal Species. Their attacks were not strong, and their defenses were weak.

Yet this Abyssal Species was extremely famous in the Abyss. First, they were exceptionally beautiful and especially beloved by humanoid Abyss Demons. Second, they were a highly intelligent, social race, possessing wisdom comparable to that of the Abyssal Foxfolk. One had to know that foxfolk were symbols of wisdom in any plane. From that, one could imagine just how clever the Abyssal Succubi were.

Abyssal Succubi, Abyssal Fairies, Abyssal Foxfolk, and Abyssal Medusas—these were several of the more famous social races in the Abyss.

Every one of these races had communities with at least dozens of members. Larger communities could have hundreds or even thousands. Moreover, those communities either had their own Abyss Demon or had attached themselves to a powerful Abyss Demon. Thus, ordinary Abyssal Species rarely provoked these social races; the loss outweighed the gain.

"Still, there's actually an Abyssal Succubus wandering alone here—and an underage little succubus at that. Interesting!" Er Dongsheng watched the little one, already trembling all over from fright. He estimated that before long, this exhausted and starving little succubus would fall from the tree and become another animal's meal.

Er Dongsheng planned to save the little one. If possible, he would adopt her. After all, three years alone had been far too lonely.

"Perfect. I'll use these three male Velociraptors to test my current combat strength!" Er Dongsheng backed up a few steps, dug a hole in the ground, hid the Tutu Beast inside, and then walked straight toward the Velociraptors.

Since he was testing the results of his cultivation, it would not do to launch a sneak attack. That way, he would not be able to measure his true combat strength at all.

"Crack, crack."

Stepping on the thick fallen leaves, his tail over a meter long swaying behind him, Er Dongsheng walked calmly into the battlefield.

The three Velociraptors had stopped jumping and all turned to look at Er Dongsheng, the uninvited intruder.

"Woo woo~"

"Roar~"

"Woo woo~"

The Velociraptors each cried out once, then slowly pressed toward Er Dongsheng together. These low-intelligence creatures probably thought victory was already in their grasp. One of them did not even bother testing him and directly leaped forward to attack.

"Whoosh!"

Er Dongsheng abandoned his earlier leisurely manner, instantly erupting with powerful speed and strength. In the blink of an eye, he leaped above the first charging Velociraptor.

Then, with both fists clenched tight and his bent arms suddenly straightening—

"Die! Lion Heavy Cannon!"

"Bang!"

"Boom!"

Two sounds rang out in succession. One moment, the Velociraptor had been leaping high through the air; the next, it smashed heavily into the ground, motionless and dead!

"Eek~!"

The remaining two Velociraptors were dumbfounded with fright. They stared blankly at the corpse on the ground, unable to understand. Their tiny brains could not comprehend how their companion, so imposing just moments ago, had suddenly died.

Er Dongsheng did not care what they were thinking. Strike while the iron was hot and take their lives while they were sick—there was no mercy to speak of in the Abyss.

He turned and stomped heavily on the ground.

"Boom~"

Dust flew in all directions. Borrowing the recoil, Er Dongsheng closed in on the two still-stunned Velociraptors in an instant.

Seeing Er Dongsheng charging toward them at high speed, the two Velociraptors recoiled several steps in unison.

"Useless. Just obediently accept your deaths!"

He twisted, spun, and slammed one hand viciously into the ground. Flipping backward into the air, he continued rapidly closing in on the retreating Velociraptors.

"Heavy Cannon, Aerial Leg Style!"

"Boom~" Smoke curled and dust scattered.

Borrowing the force of his rotation and the speed of his descent, one of Er Dongsheng's legs smashed viciously into one of the Velociraptors. In an instant, the Velociraptor, larger than Er Dongsheng himself, was torn into pieces.

As the smoke dispersed, a massive crater appeared beneath Er Dongsheng's foot. Even Er Dongsheng had not expected the power of his strike to be so formidable.

"Woo woo."

The remaining Velociraptor tucked its tail between its legs and fled!

Er Dongsheng did not bother with the escaping Velociraptor. By now, he could feel just how powerful he was. These prey animals no longer even caught his eye.

"Looks like I need to find some stronger species to test my combat strength!"

"Speed, strength, agility, instantaneous bursts of power, and more—I've already surpassed my former self in every aspect. I may even be stronger than Master. Coupled with the demon body's formidable recovery ability, I can finally be said to have gained a foothold in this perilous Abyss!" Er Dongsheng muttered to himself, utterly immersed in this powerful strength.

"Ooooooh~~~~~~"

At that moment, the little succubus in the tree stared wide-eyed as Er Dongsheng tore apart two strong male Velociraptors in an instant with the force of rotten wood being pulled apart, and even frightened off the last one!

The little one opened her mouth wide in shock, looking utterly adorable in her daze!

"Pfft!"

Er Dongsheng turned and happened to see the little succubus's astonished expression. He suddenly laughed, shook his head, and walked toward her.

"What? You're still not coming down?"
