The demon opposite him remained silent, who knew what it was thinking. Er Dongsheng carefully adjusted his stance, ready to fight to the death at any moment.

"You are strong. Though you are not an Abyss Demon, you are still very strong," the demon opposite him slowly said in a hoarse, low voice, speaking word by word in Abyssal Language.

"Of course. Your Excellency is no weakling either." Er Dongsheng did not hesitate to acknowledge his own strength. In the Abyss, one had to display strength at every turn. This was a place where the bigger fist was the truth; one could never show weakness.

Another stretch of silence followed.

"Having advanced into an Abyss Demon, I need some subordinates. Hand that Abyssal Succubus over to me, and I will spare you," the Abyss Demon continued.

"What?" Er Dongsheng looked astonished, then pointed at the Abyss Demon and burst into laughter. "Instead of robbing those Abyssal Species clans or other Abyss Demons, you came to rob me of my property? Do you think I'm easy to bully?"

"Pah! Coward! You are unworthy of being an Abyss Demon!"

Boom! The Abyss Demon was thoroughly enraged. It had only just become an Abyss Demon and had not yet had time to gather followers. Then it suddenly encountered an Abyssal Intelligent Species—especially an Abyssal Succubus, famous throughout the Abyss—and thought it could recruit her with a mere wave of its hand. "It's not over yet!" He spun, twisted his body, and plunged down swiftly.

Split Kick! Die!

A massive shockwave burst outward, sending leaves and dust flying. Er Dongsheng immediately tapped the ground with his foot and drifted backward with a light motion, withdrawing from the battlefield.

"I don't believe an Abyss Demon dies that easily!" He stared hard ahead. Before long, the smoke, dust, and leaves settled, revealing a pitch-black figure.

"Ahhh! It hurts! It hurts! Damn it, damn you!" With a boom, countless violent currents of air surged forth.

"Abyssal Will, open for me!"

Hum— Great waves of black aura erupted from the Abyss Demon's forehead. The pale white star on its brow abruptly turned scarlet. Its injuries healed at a speed visible to the naked eye, while its one-and-a-half-meter body rapidly swelled and grew, suddenly becoming a colossal monster two and a half meters tall, nearly three.

"Fuck, how am I supposed to fight this?" Er Dongsheng stared in dumbfounded disbelief. "Is this f***ing Ultraman transforming?"

Roar! Two long streams of white vapor billowed from the Abyss Demon's nostrils. Its scarlet eyes were filled with excitement, violence, and bloodlust as it stared at Er Dongsheng, making his scalp prickle. Then...

"Not good!" Seeing the Abyss Demon suddenly vanish before his eyes, Er Dongsheng's heart jolted. He rapidly retreated, but unfortunately...

In an instant, Er Dongsheng was viciously sent flying. The moment he hit the ground, another enormous force struck his back.
