Background / History

Killer B was raised under Kumogakure’s revised jinchūriki policy, which recognized that jinchūriki needed human warmth and contact rather than total isolation. His seal remained carefully monitored, but he was permitted occasional visits to the village under supervision. 21

A introduced B to Chiba Shun as a fellow swordsman. Though B initially entertained Ninja Academy children with rap, he immediately displayed extraordinary ability when he copied the Four-Sword Style from A’s explanation and decisively overwhelmed Shun in their first duel. 21

B’s sparring with Shun and Sakai Yushi became central to the development of the Multi-Sword Style. Shun supplied the concept of controlling airborne swords through kicks and strikes, but B’s talent allowed him to apply it first, advancing from four to five and then six swords within the same session. 21 22
