"An executive?!"

Inside the Team Galactic warehouse, the Team Galactic members stared at their executive in shock.

Lance's expression was complicated. With a sweep of his hand, he tore off his disguise mask and wig, revealing his true appearance.

That signature red hair and that upright, handsome face made several Team Galactic members who had seen Lance in newspapers or on television instantly take a step back.

Their companion froze. "What's going on?"

The man who recognized Lance said in horror, "Lance! He's Lance! Kanto's Champion! The former Dragon-type Elite Four!"

The entire place was thrown into an uproar.

Even Looker could not help but suck in a breath. He turned to Hu Yang and asked, "Hiss... Is he the undercover agent you mentioned?"

Hu Yang nodded slightly.

Looker muttered in disbelief, "So a Pokémon League investigator infiltrated Team Galactic and became an executive-level member..."

"It's over." Lance looked seriously at the Team Galactic members before him. "Cyrus's plan will fail soon. You should find somewhere else to go!"

During his time undercover in Team Galactic, Lance had learned that these lower-ranking members usually just guarded doors and ran errands. They rarely took part in the real plans.

There was no need for them to be dragged down by Cyrus.

Yet after hearing those words, the Team Galactic members showed no sign of backing down. Instead, they insisted:

"Nonsense! Team Galactic's plan can never fail! You may not know this, but the boss has already taken the Galactic Bomb to Lake Verity! That place will soon be destroyed!"

Lance frowned. "But you won't be able to escape either."

The Team Galactic members looked fanatical, as though they were ready to face death. "Once the boss's plan succeeds, all of us will live in a brand-new world!"
