Taking a Day Off + End-of-Arc Summary

I was a little tired, so I was taking the day off.

The Unova arc was finished. Starting tomorrow, we would officially enter the Kalos and Alola arcs.

The themes of these two arcs would revolve around "reuniting with former Pokémon companions."

Um, let's talk about the Unova arc first. All the buildup I'd laid since the beginning had finally paid off, and I'd managed to write what I wanted to write.

Though the slow updates had made the process feel a little lackluster...

At first, a lot of people asked why the protagonist didn't let Cramorant use the Modifier. It was because, subconsciously, he didn't want to use it; if Cramorant used it, it would sleep for a year.

There wouldn't be any more heavy, oppressive, tragic plotlines later on. From here on, it would all be lighthearted, warm daily life.

As for those villains from Team Flare, the protagonist would deal with every last one of them swiftly and decisively.

Hahaha, I'd finally brought it back to the title. This story came into being because of the Modifier, and it was changed because of it too. Honestly, I didn't think any other name could compare to this one.

Alright, that was it for today. It had already reached 1.8 million words, with another 400,000 left.

I could probably update around 120,000 words a month. Forty divided by twelve equals 3.33333333...
