The Revived Fossil and Plans for the Future

With the fossil secured, there was no reason to stay at the auction.

Hu Yang had no interest in the remaining lots.

He left the auction floor and went backstage. After paying, he took the Jaw Fossil and left.

Following the route he remembered, Hu Yang made his way to a local fossil research institute.

A researcher in a white coat greeted him, and Hu Yang explained why he had come.

"Of course, no problem," the researcher said. "Reviving the fossil will take about two days. You could explore in the meantime. Ambrette Town has plenty of places worth visiting, like the aquarium and the museum."

Hu Yang understood the hint. He nodded, left the Jaw Fossil there, and departed.

He did not plan to spend those two days in Ambrette Town. Instead, he would take Meowstic back to Laverre City so it could say goodbye to everyone who had been worried about it.

Hu Yang brought out Reshiram, climbed onto its back, and headed south toward Laverre City.

Reshiram flew fast, and the scenery below swept rapidly past.

Looking down, Hu Yang thought of the other Pokémon he still had to find in Kalos.

Besides Espurr and Tyrunt, three remained.

They were Pancham, Goodra, and Hoopa.

Hu Yang clearly remembered where Pancham and Goodra were. As for Hoopa, it should still be in Desert City.

It was already May of the League Calendar year 215. By his reckoning, the events of The Super Mage of the Rings would begin soon.
