Nurse Joy and Chansey brought food and cookies to the Goodra who had come to take shelter from the typhoon.

Outside, torrential rain lashed down. Chaotic, urgent raindrops struck the Pokémon Center's windows with a pattering sound, streaming down the glass and leaving trails like worms crawling across it.

The Goodra watched the scene outside anxiously.

Although they enjoyed strolling through drizzles, that was only when the rain was not too heavy.

Hardly any Pokémon would enjoy a Category Eight gale accompanied by a torrential downpour like this.

After telling Nurse Joy about the Goodra, Hu Yang sat down beside that special Goodra.

Just then, Goodra looked over at him as well.

The human and the dragon met each other's gaze. Though it was their first meeting, they were able to understand each other with remarkable ease.

That made Goodra very happy.

"This typhoon is expected to remain around Shalour City for another two days!"

There were not many people at the Pokémon Center right now. Nurse Joy and Chansey sat on the sofa, both looking sadly out the window.

"Judging by your appearance, you don't seem to be a Trainer from the Kalos region. You came here from another region to travel, didn't you?"

Hu Yang was a little surprised to hear that. "That's right. I'm a Trainer from the Hoenn region. How could you tell?"

"Your accent!" Nurse Joy smiled.

"My accent?" Hu Yang had not noticed that at all. Why had he never felt that he spoke with a bit of a Hoenn accent?
