Hu Yang arrived with a smile, carrying a cardboard box filled with desserts.

The moment he appeared, Groudon, which had been lying in the lava asleep below, opened its eyes and looked up at him.

Hu Yang waved at it. "Hi! Long time no see, Groudon!"

The God of Land remained silent, thinking that it had not actually been that long. They had met just two months ago.

Remembering how this guy had previously said it looked like Corphish, Groudon immediately became unhappy and turned its head away as though sulking.

Seeing this, Hu Yang hugged the box and jumped down.

His action gave Groudon a fright. Just as it was about to make a move, it discovered that Hu Yang had not fallen into the lava. Instead, he stopped a short distance above it, hovering there completely unharmed.

Then Groudon heard him say:

"Here, I bought some pastries today. They tasted pretty good, so I brought some over for you to try."

Groudon lowered its head and looked at the little cake in Hu Yang's hand, then at the human before it.

It saw an expectant smile on this guy's face.

"Eat up!" he said.

Groudon fell silent for a moment before finally opening its mouth and eating the little cake.

It had just wanted to say something when it suddenly felt a hand gently stroking the top of its head.

"I'm really sorry. Last time, I said you looked like a little crayfish. I apologize for that. I didn't mean it—I just said it casually. Don't be mad anymore. Please forgive me!"

Hearing that, the sulkiness in Groudon's heart immediately eased.

It had not actually been that angry.
