Arceus Wants to Be an Ordinary Pokémon

On the evening of August 21, League Calendar 215, Hu Yang returned to the Ecological Park.

Everything had been resolved smoothly. Standing beneath the familiar eaves once more, Hu Yang felt utterly relaxed.

"Are we heading to Alola right away?" Slow Wisdom stood beside him and asked with a smile.

"No rush." Hu Yang gently shook his head. "As usual, we'll set out next year."

He had done many things and traveled to many places over the past year. Though everything had been resolved, the process had still left him physically and mentally exhausted.

Right now, Hu Yang only wanted to lie down on the big bed in his room, get a good night's sleep, and think about the rest afterward.

Slow Wisdom nodded. "I understand. Leave everything else to me. Go get some proper sleep first!"

When Slow Wisdom handled things, Hu Yang had nothing to worry about.

He gave a quiet hum, glanced back at the sunset over the distant sea, wished Slow Wisdom good night, then headed straight upstairs. After taking off his clothes and shoes, he relaxed completely onto the bed.

He closed his eyes, emptied his mind, and thought of nothing—the things that had happened in the past, the protection and waiting through those cycles...

When he woke tomorrow, another wonderful day would await him.

Before long, Hu Yang drifted into sleep.

Unnoticed by him, the Lunar Wing Cresselia had given him glimmered softly.

Perhaps influenced by that power, Hu Yang had a sweet dream.

In the dream, he and all the Pokémon crowded together to celebrate their reunion, sharing cake before taking a huge group photo on the island. There was no pain, no sadness. Like a fairy tale, they lived happily together.
