Anita ran straight to Werther, wrapped her arms around his leg, and refused to let go no matter how hard he shook it.

"Big brother, please don't send me back to Mary Geoise yet. I'm begging you.

Tuski, help me!"

Tuski could see that things were going badly too. His good friend Anita was about to be thrown off the ship by Al, so he copied her and clung to Werther's other leg. He even started trying to climb it.

Tuski was closer to Werther than anyone else and wasn't afraid of him in the slightest, so he held on tight.

Tuski seemed to have forgotten that he was no longer the slender rabbit he'd been on the deserted island. He was quite a hefty rabbit now—all 125 jin of him!

Werther had no choice but to grab his belt in a panic to keep his pants from being dragged down.

If it had been Anita alone, Werther could have pried her off and put her ashore. But he couldn't bring himself to do that to Tuski.

Tuski acted as though he hadn't heard and kept clinging to Werther's leg.

Werther knew there was no chance of getting Anita off the ship today. He could harden his heart and send her away, but he could never do that to Tuski.

"Fine, fine. I get it. She can stay for now, but she has to get off at the Sabaody Archipelago. I can't take a Dragon Person into the New World."

At Werther's words, Tuski released his leg and flashed a goofy peace sign.
