The one who had fallen from the sky with Luffy and the others was Tuski. She was holding on to Luffy as the wings she had created with her ability carried them slowly downward.

Werther's first instinct was to bring Tuski over to the Marines' side. Whitebeard's forces were under fierce attack.

Unfortunately, Diamond Jozu stood in his way and had no intention of letting him pass.

Tuski had spotted Werther staring at her in disbelief. As if she knew she had done something wrong, she whistled and looked up, avoiding his gaze.

Seeing how well Tuski and Luffy got along put Werther somewhat at ease. She probably wasn't in danger for the moment.

"Get out of my way."

Werther's gaze turned cold as he looked at Diamond Jozu.

"Heh. Not a chance."

Werther wasted no more words. He charged with his sword, knowing talk was pointless.

Diamond Jozu's body began turning to diamond as he dashed toward Werther.

Clang! Crack, crack, crack!

Werther's sword struck Jozu's diamond fist, sending Lightning spraying everywhere.

From the feel of the blow, Werther knew the diamond covering Jozu's body was many times harder than natural diamond. Even a full-strength slash had only chipped off a few fragments.

Jozu's expression grew grave when he felt the shallow cut on his hand. He had blocked Hawk-Eyes' slash without a scratch, yet Werther had pierced his defenses as soon as they clashed.

It wasn't that Werther was much stronger than Hawk-Eyes. Their fighting styles were simply different. Werther's attacks were fast and sharp.

Clang! Clang! Boom!

The two fought fiercely across the ice. Jozu's attacks were one thing, but the Sword Aura from Werther's strikes was a disaster for everyone nearby.
