Standing at the bow of his beloved ship, Red-Haired frowned as he watched Werther sitting on the King of the Sky's back.

"Boss, are we just going to watch from here? This sucks."

Lucky Roux sat on the deck, gnawing a chicken leg with a disgruntled look on his face.

The Revolutionary Army's ship was anchored near the Red Hair Pirates.

"Koala, you were watching from the Island earlier, and you still got blasted off it! Hahaha!"

Sabo grinned mischievously at Koala and patted her on the head.

That infuriated Koala. She grabbed Sabo's cheeks with both hands and pulled them apart.

On the Island, only Werther, Kaido, and a nearby pile of corpses remained.

Kaido gripped his Spiked Club with both hands, then swung it hard toward the corpses.

Boom.

A shockwave burst out, sending the corpses flying through the air and far out toward the sea.

Werther's heart tightened at the sight.

He had thought Kaido was much like Jack, an enemy with formidable powers of recovery.

But now it was clear that Kaido's strength was terrifying too.

The realization did not frighten Werther. He did not fear death, especially not death in battle.

Werther leaped from the King of the Sky's back and landed so lightly that he did not stir a speck of dust.

"I've wanted to fight you for a long time. I just didn't expect it to happen so soon."

Werther loosened up his body and walked toward Kaido.

Once the King of the Sky saw Werther land, it soared high and began circling above the Island.

It was noon. Bright sunlight shone on the Island, where the tall man and the shorter one faced each other.
