Another explosion shook the island. Kaido sent Werther flying, and he skidded across the ground before coming to a stop.

Werther was still far behind Kaido in raw strength.

He could withstand Kaido's attacks only because he had coated parts of his body in Haki, allowing him to meet Kaido head-on.

And Kaido had sent him flying because Werther had deliberately allowed it.

Werther gripped it, gathered his strength, then hurled it at Kaido.

Intent Blood spun rapidly through the air, whirling around its hilt until it became a circular wheel of Lightning and steel that screamed toward Kaido.

Werther's move stunned the spectators, Kaido included. Red-Haired was especially surprised.

As a Swordsman himself, he knew what it meant. Top Swordsmen never let go of their blades, yet Werther had thrown his. It left everyone staring in disbelief.

Red-Haired was privately disappointed. He had thought Werther was a Great Swordsman, but Werther had just thrown away his sword.

Kaido watched the spinning blade approach and coated his Spiked Club in Armament Haki.
