The King of the Sky soared upward with a cry. Despite carrying so many people, including someone as massive as Kaido, he showed no sign of strain.
They soon reached the clouds, but Werther felt as though he had forgotten something.
"Tillman, did we forget something? Something feels off."
Tillman frowned and thought for a moment, then slapped his thigh.
"Jack! We forgot Jack."
Werther gave a wry smile. They had indeed forgotten Jack.

But he was too badly hurt. Not only had he failed to shout, he had coughed up blood instead.
Seeing the Giant Eagle descend, Jack felt another wave of frustration. He had a strong feeling those people had forgotten him. Their flight path had clearly been taking them toward the battlefield on the other side.
The King of the Sky landed, and Werther and Tillman jumped down.
"Jack, are you all right? The war's almost over. Thanks for the effort."
