Early the next morning, Werther and Rabbit left Alabasta.

Werther took out the Log Pose he had gotten from Dr. Crocus. The direction it pointed was probably the route Luffy and his crew would take.

So Werther threw it to the deck and crushed it underfoot.

If he sailed a route he already knew, could he still call it an adventure? How could Werther call himself an Adventurer?

He adjusted his course to follow a new Log Pose.

He had bought it in Alabasta that morning. With his course set, he continued his adventure at sea.

Werther had noticed that his strength had been improving slowly of late. His swordsmanship was unlikely to advance anytime soon. At his level, a sudden insight into swordplay was not enough. He needed time to hone it.

His Armament Haki and physical techniques were another matter. He felt that the strength and coverage of his Armament Haki had improved considerably, though he still needed time to consolidate those gains.

As for his physical techniques, they had been improving at a steady pace thanks to the Lightning Stimulation Method.

If Werther wanted to grow stronger now, he needed to develop new moves. He could also feel his existing techniques falling behind his strength, especially Tsubame Gaeshi.

He could now use Tsubame Gaeshi like an ordinary move. Its only drawback was a little extra fatigue. He needed a sword technique stronger than that.

He already had ideas, but one seemed so difficult that he was not sure it was possible. Werther decided to try the easier one first and headed straight to the training room.

The walls there were made of special metal and could be removed and replaced. As long as Werther did not damage the ship itself too badly, it should be fine.
