Watching the Going Merry sail farther away, Werther signaled for Tuski to take the CP9 agents back to the ship first. He would follow shortly.

Tuski wanted to stay and watch the excitement, but when he saw that Anita was still frightened, he reluctantly agreed. He still gave Werther the middle finger.

Werther returned the gesture without hesitation.

Before Tuski left, Werther told him to treat the CP9 agents' injuries once they reached the ship, but not to forget to bind them with Seastone.

Most of CP9's strongest members were Devil Fruit Users. As for the few who weren't, Tuski's Fur-Fur Fruit could handle them.

Tuski had sailed with Werther for a long time. He might not have much combat experience, but he was certainly no pushover. With Werther forcing him to train every day, it would have been hard for him to stay weak.

After Tuski left, Werther jumped onto the bridge to speak with the Marines. He was a Shichibukai now, no longer a Pirate in name, so the Marines weren't enemies he had to fight on sight.

But when Werther approached the Vice Admirals, he found them far from friendly. In fact, they looked downright hostile.

The question came from a Vice Admiral whose face was covered in scars and who held a sword in one hand.

Werther ignored the obvious provocation and studied the Vice Admirals instead.

After a while, he recognized only one of them: Vice Admiral Momonga. A beautiful woman among them caught his attention, though.

He didn't remember there being such a beauty among the Marine Vice Admirals, so he took a closer look.
