The Elite Camp Annihilated in Seconds

The attack was remarkably effective. Loa was not Kaido; faced with an assault like a barrage of shotgun pellets, he instinctively chose to defend. He had not expected that to give the Elite Camp members time to close in.

Arudo stuck to his usual approach, taking a stance before charging forward.

Boom!

This time, Loa was the one caught off guard. The Ice Armor over his chest creaked under the strain, and having suddenly lost his balance, he was sent flying hard.

The next second, two figures used Geppo to reach his back. The Fine Grade Blades Rain Cutter and Spring Severer in their hands pressed together as they slashed neatly at Loa.

"One-Sword Two-Part!"

"Divine One-Sword Two-Part! I'm reporting you for plagiarism!" Loa quipped, extending an icicle to block the attack as he had done against Tony.

But the Jerome Brothers far surpassed Tony in both skill and speed. Besides, there were two blades. Could he really block them so easily?

The instant they touched the horizontally extended icicle meant to block them, the two blades split apart. Their edges scraped against the ice, scattering specks of ice crystals through the air before slashing fiercely upward and downward at Loa's neck and thigh.

"You can do that?!" Feeling the sharp slashes behind him, Loa instinctively reinforced his Ice Armor.

Crack!

The sturdy Ice Armor saved Loa's life. Even wielding Fine Grade Blades, the Jerome Brothers were not yet strong enough to break through the armor and injure him, much less when they could not even use Armament Haki.

"Tch, that turtle shell is really hard!"

After missing with their strike, the Jerome Brothers kicked off each other's soles and evaded Loa's immediate counterattack.

"Those are the Jerome Brothers, right? Their combined attacks really are quite powerful."

Seeing their perfectly synchronized, seemingly telepathic movements, Sengoku, who had remained expressionless until now, suddenly spoke with satisfaction.

Garp picked his nose. When Loa counterattacked, he regretfully pursed his lips and said, "So what? Even an idiot like Arudo can use Armament Haki now, but they still can't. Attacks at that level can't even break through that brat's defense."

As he spoke, Garp flicked the booger forward, sending it arcing through the air.

Sengoku's face darkened as he lowered his voice and barked, "Garp! Watch your conduct!"

"Yes, yes. I know, I know." After picking his nose, Garp started digging in his ear, looking like someone humbly accepting criticism while having no intention whatsoever of changing.

"You!"

Sengoku trembled with anger. Just as he was about to teach Garp a lesson, Zephyr spoke up and stopped them from continuing their squabble.

"What are you two doing? You came here to observe, not to be observed! If you want to fight, go somewhere else. It's embarrassing enough just standing on the same platform as you!"

At Zephyr's words, Sengoku could no longer throw his punch. He could only reluctantly lower his hand and look at the battle full of openings below, pretending to be engrossed.

Although Loa had blocked the Jerome Brothers' attack, the force behind it sent him rapidly hurtling toward the ground. At his landing point, Arudo stood with a wide grin, rolling his shoulders. Armament Haki made his already pitch-black gloves look even darker as he waited for his prey to arrive.

"Cannon Fist: Hundred Cannons!"

Arudo was simple-minded, and his moves were just as simple.

The so-called Cannon Fist: Hundred Cannons supposedly possessed the power of one hundred cannonballs. Of course, that was a bit exaggerated, but it still demonstrated the force behind the move.

Loa had no intention of testing whether the Ice Armor on his body could withstand a hundred cannonballs. He spread his hands before Arudo, crossing his thumbs and index fingers in pairs and aiming through the diamond-shaped opening.

"You stay put for a while, Arudo!"

"Ice Make: Endless Chains!"

This time, the ice did not shoot out from Loa's hands. Instead, it formed out of thin air around Arudo. It took less than half a second to go from illusion to solid form, and the bewildered Arudo was tightly bound by chains.

After training, Ice Coffin was no longer limited to being cast in place. It could now be freely generated within a range of five meters.

Letting go, Loa used the momentum to spin and flip before kicking the immobile Arudo away.

"Ice Dragon's Hook Claw!"

Like a jumping bug, Arudo bounced across the ground, rolling farther and farther away before smashing a huge crater into the wall. Loa clapped his hands in satisfaction and grinned strangely at Simon, who was digging iron sand out of himself.

"Your arrangement was reasonable, but you miscalculated one thing: whether Arudo and the others could actually hold me back."

"Gulp!"

Simon forcefully suppressed his nervousness and tried to maintain his elegant demeanor as he brushed his bangs upward. "Yeah, that—"

Boom!

Before he could finish, Loa once again sent him flying with a 70-degree roundhouse kick.

But this attack did not fully take effect. Two figures instantly appeared in front of and behind Simon, grabbed his waistband, and exerted force in opposite directions, dissipating the powerful twisting impact.

"Jerome!"

The newcomers were none other than the Jerome Brothers.

It had to be said that whenever the two worked together, these twins performed exceptionally well. Just like now, aside from the kick to the face hurting a little, Simon had completely avoided the more serious secondary damage.

"Jerome Jerome, die, Loa! We'll defeat you."

The Jerome Brothers spoke one word each, yet it sounded astonishingly fluent. Even their tones connected seamlessly. Judging by sound alone, it was no different from one person speaking.

After speaking, the Jerome Brothers used Soru to rush forward again and launch a joint assault on Loa.

Whether in offense or defense, Loa far surpassed the two of them. Yet with the high-speed mobility granted by Soru and Geppo, along with their impressive swordsmanship, they still managed to hold Loa back head-on.

Nearby, Simon shook his groggy head and hurried over to pull Tony out of the ground. He had the recruits harass Loa while pinching Tony beneath the nose. "Damn it! We'll lose if this keeps up! Wake up already!"

Dragon Slayer Magic could only increase in strength, never decrease. To the recruits, any of Loa's moves would be fatal. Thus, Loa had not used any large-scale attacks to clear the field. But because of that concern, the perceptive Jerome Brothers found an opening. As Loa dodged a sneak attack from a recruit, they once more used their joint technique and slashed for his neck.

The whistling by his ear made Loa's scalp go numb.

What a shameless way to fight! Loa was inwardly alarmed, but he also admired their technique.

This attack was a sneak attack. Loa no longer had time to block with icicles, but that did not mean he would simply wait to die.

Clang!

Accompanied by a crisp sound, the Jerome Brothers widened their eyes and stared at the weapons in their hands in disbelief.

Their weapons were stuck against Loa's shoulders, only a centimeter away from his neck, yet they could not advance another inch. From the sensation in their hands, the brothers knew they had not cut into anything. What had stopped Rain Cutter and Spring Severer was Loa's brute strength.

He could unleash such terrifying power simply by tilting his head and shrugging his shoulders!

Maintaining the pose with his head tilted and shoulders raised, Loa glanced at the two Fine Grade Blades right before him. "I heard that unless a swordsman dies in battle, he'll never let go of the sword in his hand."

He gave a sinister grin and let intense cold spread backward along the blades. Visible frost rapidly crept over their surfaces.

The brothers exchanged a glance, gritted their teeth, and pulled with all their strength, yet the blades did not budge in the slightest.

"Jerome—"

Loa relaxed his neck, stepped forward, and patted the two frozen ice statues. "Not bad. If a swordsman abandons the sword in his hand, he isn't worthy of being called a swordsman!"

Then he gave them a second layer of reinforcement with Ice Dragon's Iron Fist.

Supporting the slowly awakening Tony, Simon happened to see the scene and immediately looked as though he were about to cry. "It's over. How are we supposed to fight now?"

The three main combatants, the heavy hitters from Elite Camp, had all been wiped out in just a few minutes. One was over there bouncing around like a jumping bug, desperately crawling back toward the battlefield, while the other pair had become ice statues.

They might have the numerical advantage, but Loa had yet to use any large-scale attacks.

In the stands, Garp seized the chance to mock Zephyr. "These are your Elite Camp students? That was an instant kill, wasn't it? Hey, that was an instant kill, right?"

Zephyr took a deep breath, his face so dark it looked as though oil might drip from it.

After carefully studying the matter, I discovered that yesterday's chaotic chapter was not my fault. It was the mobile assistant acting up!

For example, I wrote Chapter 7 on my company laptop and saved it to the drafts. Then, at the event venue, I edited it on my phone and clicked save. Guess what happened?

It directly saved the unedited version!!!!

All that effort went completely to waste!

Just now, I suddenly thought of uploading it to the drafts from my computer first, then randomly copying a few paragraphs on the computer. After that, I checked it on my phone. Heh, the edits really did synchronize.

But as long as I clicked save, or even just exited directly!

It would revert to the first version it had saved.

No matter the wind or rain, it remained unmoved. Even uninstalling and reinstalling changed nothing. Seriously, what the hell!
