Borrowing Money to Buy a Sword

Watching Tina's warship gradually disappear beyond the horizon, the major general in charge of the base withdrew his gaze.

He looked at Jerry, who had somehow produced a Den Den Mushi, and asked with a frown, "Is the World Government really going to make a move against Admiral Zephyr?"

"Former admiral," Jerry emphasized. "They let him cause trouble everywhere without launching a campaign against him because an admiral strongly opposed it. That was why the Fleet Admiral never gave the order."

Jerry held the Den Den Mushi and stared in the direction Tina's warship had vanished, smiling coldly.

"Yes."

A few days later, Tina's warship arrived at a town.

Hina stood to one side, giving instructions to the Marines under her command.

Meanwhile, Wuli stared bitterly at his sword sheath. It was already ruined.

His sword had been destroyed in his battle with Kid, and this time, his sheath had been destroyed in his fight against Jerry of CP6.

"Oh, dear. I really need to get myself a sword. Otherwise, if I run into a fight, I'll be completely helpless." Wuli sighed.

"That CP6 Jerry said you nearly wiped out all the pirates in the South Blue by yourself, scaring the pirates so badly that everyone was in danger. You should have plenty of money, shouldn't you?"

"It's actually not that much. I accidentally spent it all," Wuli laughed it off.

Jango and Fullbody continued looking at Wuli suspiciously, clearly unconvinced by his explanation.

They both thought, Could this guy be an impostor? But CP's intelligence is absolutely reliable, and judging from that battle the other day, he really does have that kind of strength.

Hina did not think much of it. She merely said to Fullbody, "Give it to him."

Fullbody hesitated before taking out one hundred thousand Berries and handing them to Wuli. Wuli happily put the money away.

Then Tina asked curiously, "What are you borrowing money for?"

"I want to buy a sword," Wuli said.

Hina looked at the nearly warped sword sheath in Wuli's hand and said, "There probably won't be any good swords in this town. Once we return to Marine Headquarters, I'll get you a better sword."

"I want to look around first and see if I can find a usable sword," Wuli said.

"Mm, all right," Tina said.

Seeing Tina care so much about Wuli, the hypnotist looked at him with some jealousy.

"I heard Smoker arrived before us. Let's head over too," Tina ordered. "Everyone else, remain on the warship and rest while awaiting orders."

Wuli split up with Tina and the others after they arrived in town.
