Ye Chen's palm cut through the air toward Klyde. But the moment it struck him, Diana collapsed in pain.

Hancock answered sweetly. She gazed at Ye Chen with such affection that she seemed as gentle and obedient as a maid. The icy, unapproachable pride she showed everyone else had vanished without a trace.
"Turn him back."
When Klyde became a statue, the Gu Worm inside him had turned to stone too. Its fate was bound to Diana's; turning to stone was little different from dying. Pain racked her body, sweat streamed down her face, and what little color remained in her pale cheeks drained away.

Hancock asked no questions. She swept her wrist, and a fragrant breeze passed over Klyde, restoring him to normal.

Ye Chen then walked toward Diana. Like a startled deer, she jerked her head up and looked at him, her expression conflicted.
