Hancock looked Robin over, comparing the two of them from head to toe. Looks, bearing, figure... she left nothing out. She knew Ye Chen cared deeply about Robin. Otherwise, he would have stayed on Amazon Lily.
Hancock had always been confident in her beauty. She had to admit Robin was gorgeous, but she didn't think she would lose to her.

Robin smiled faintly. She was perceptive enough to see through Hancock's thoughts at a glance, but she took no offense. When Hancock's lips eventually puckered with jealousy, Robin said gently, "You shouldn't see me as an enemy. It won't do you any good. Besides, you're you, and I'm me. I'm not your enemy. Ye Chen is free to love whoever he wants and be with whoever he chooses."
Hancock nodded, and the words cleared her mind. She waited anxiously, her thoughts racing. She wished Ye Chen would come out of the grass already.
