One Marine cried out in admiration, "No wonder he once fought Roger for supremacy. He's unbelievably strong!"
Golden Lion shook his head in displeasure. "A Vice Admiral? Hmph. He may have the same rank as Garp, but he's nowhere near his level!"
Golden Lion strode toward Akainu again. Akainu was furious. Ye Chen had deliberately provoked Golden Lion in front of everyone and even called Akainu a piece of trash. He was beside himself with rage.
But even knowing Ye Chen had done it on purpose, what could Akainu do? Explain himself to Golden Lion? Tell him, "Ye Chen played you for a fool"?
That would do no good. Golden Lion and Ye Chen were on the same side now. The Marines were their common enemy.
Golden Lion sneered. "Akainu, I'll bring you down. Soon, too. Right now would be best!"
To Akainu, it was an outright insult. He clenched his fist and swung at Golden Lion. "Then try it!"
Akainu was enraged, and Golden Lion stopped holding back.
