Back during the Ohara Buster Call, five Vice Admirals had taken part: Strawberry, Akainu, Onigumo, Kizaru, and Aokiji.
By now, three of them were dead. Ye Chen had hacked Strawberry to death. Onigumo had died in an explosion, but Ye Chen was the reason: Little Zhuge had turned Onigumo into a human bomb to use against him. Onigumo's death had been gruesome. As for Akainu, Ye Chen had killed him with his own hands.
Ye Chen smiled and held up two fingers at Kizaru. "That leaves you and Aokiji. Heh. You'd better watch yourselves!"
Then he turned and walked toward Zephyr again. "I'm here to rescue someone this time. I'm not interested in fighting you for now. But if you get in my way, I won't hold back."
His tone was arrogant, his words laden with threat. Kizaru shook his head, his expression suddenly turning serious. Ye Chen meant it. He wasn't joking.
Robin was fighting the Marines nearby. When she heard Ye Chen's words, her eyes misted over. He never forgot what happened to Ohara!
But a moment later, Ye Chen burst out cursing. "If your damned World Government hadn't launched that bombardment, would Robin and I have been separated for so many years? We'd probably have a whole brood of kids by now!"
"Huh?"
Zephyr's mouth twitched. He hadn't expected that to be Ye Chen's reason for seeking revenge.
Ye Chen had come from another world. He'd spent only three short months on Ohara before the Buster Call destroyed it. In so little time, he'd barely formed any attachment to its residents. He pitied those who had died, but he wasn't outraged enough to avenge them.
He and Robin had been separated for a full twenty years, and the damned Buster Call was to blame for it all.
