The battle ended without a hitch. Not long after Buggy left, Hawk-Eye glanced at Ye Chen and gave him a meaningful smile before leaving too. Kuma acted as though he had never met Sabo or Ye Chen and hurried away by ship. With the other Shichibukai gone, Weevil did not know what to do. He wanted to stay with Ye Chen a little longer. Fighting side by side had made him fond of Ye Chen, and apart from fighting and killing, he had never had a friend in his life. He had rarely been as happy as he was today. Turning to Miss Bakkin, he pleaded like a child, "Mom, can we stay on the island a little longer?"
Miss Bakkin rushed over and stamped her high heel on Weevil's foot several times. "You idiot son! Do you realize how much trouble you've caused? We have to leave at once! Kizaru saw you join them in attacking Admiral Fujitora. Once he gets back, he'll tell Fleet Admiral Aokiji. Do you think Aokiji will let us off?"
Weevil gave Ye Chen a pitiful look and scratched his head, plainly reluctant to go. Ye Chen stepped over. "Listen, you old hag. If he wants to stay a while, let him. Do you think leaving now will fix anything? The moment Kizaru returns to Marine Headquarters, Weevil will lose his Shichibukai title!"
Sabo came over too and nodded. "Ye Chen's right. I think Weevil will lose his title, and Admiral Fujitora's death may convince Aokiji to abolish the Shichibukai altogether. Fujitora spent his life pushing for that. Now Weevil has turned against them, Tesoro has been killed, and Hancock has been struck from their ranks. That leaves only four. The Shichibukai barely exists anymore. There's no reason to keep it."
