She was short and ugly, built like a tree stump, and bounced along as she walked. It was that old hag, Miss Bakkin!
"Yeah, I didn't expect you two to come." Ye Chen glanced at Miss Bakkin and managed a halfhearted greeting.
Miss Bakkin looked smug. "We ran into Hancock on the way. You know how strong my foolish son is. You won't beat Kaido without his help!"
"You're right about that." As much as Ye Chen wanted to give Miss Bakkin a beating, he let it go for Weevil's sake.
Ye Chen walked up to Weevil and patted him twice. "It's been a long time. I'm glad you came!"
Weevil scratched his head and grinned. "Heh, I didn't think that far ahead. I just figured it'd be fun to follow you. If I can help, even better!"
