Background

Oyana operates a magic shop in Canfor, supplying magical goods in the space between the city’s church-dominated inner districts and its ordinary residents. As one of the merchants partnered with the Ouston Church, she receives holy water in exchange for supplying goods to the institution. Her shop conceals a much larger interior accessed through a spatial magic circle. 6 19

During the Rosakavin Curse crisis, Oyana and her church-connected lover plan to profit from the expected purification of Canfor: they borrow heavily to buy cursed farmland cheaply before high-ranking priests arrive and land values increase. 6

She later becomes involved in the trade of dragon-derived artifacts. She possesses a Dragonblood Ring refined from a Masharta Fire Dragon, manipulates Denolan into revealing his Dragonblood Gem formula, and seeks Dragon Tooth Clan weapons from Pervi in exchange for the ring. 15 19 22

As the undead crisis worsens, Oyana recognizes Tiadam’s planned elevation into a Hero as a political threat to the Witches’ Coven. Although she prepares a teleportation circle to flee Canfor with Abelato and Yalila, she delays her escape while Yalila is unconscious. 37 41 46

Oyana first appears exploiting the Rosakavin Curse alongside her church-connected lover, borrowing money to acquire land before a planned church purification campaign. When Denolan arrives with the Dragonblood Gem formula, she probes his intentions while concealing her connection to Tiadam and the Dragonblood Ring. 6

Tiadam and Yalila’s Conflict

Oyana brings Tiadam to Lord Yetara as protection during a Dragonblood Ring negotiation. Afterward, she tests Tiadam with flirtation and a lethal magic circle, then uses summoning magic to end his fight with the Dragon Tooth youth. 15 16 17

When Yalila uses Lufa and the Endless Corridor against Tiadam, Oyana intervenes to save him from Gundaljika. She then uses Yalila’s rejection and Tiadam’s Heroic lineage to push him toward becoming a Demon King-slaying Hero. 27 29

Witches’ Coven and Canfor’s Defense

At Canfor’s Round Table Council, Oyana’s witches are assigned a rear-line supply role. Oyana openly doubts that Tiadam can be a Hero without the Holy Sword, then realizes that Dilanna’s plan to elevate him could marginalize or endanger the Witches’ Coven regardless of whether he succeeds. 36 37

Yalila’s Capture and the Fall of Canfor

After Veil Nas’s servants mutilate and capture Yalila, Oyana abandons caution and orders a path opened to Veil Nas’s estate so she can retrieve her herself. 38

As the undead overwhelm Canfor, Oyana prepares to flee through teleportation with Abelato and Yalila. She ultimately remains long enough to wait for the unconscious Yalila, revealing an attachment that conflicts with her usual self-preservation. 41 46
