Game of Wits and Choices

Everyone's bodies were frozen in place once more.

Bride approached from afar and took her place in the center.

Even though they had grown somewhat accustomed to Bride, several timid people still could not help closing their eyes.

"Who is it!"

The questioning was incomparably clear, as if Bride were speaking directly into everyone's ears.

"Killer is the groom's sister!" Bride's mother was the first to speak, pointing at the groom's sister without hesitation.

The groom was not Killer, the groom's sister was not Killer, the best man was most likely not Killer, and she was definitely not Killer.

Then who exactly was Killer?

Within the void, six white points of light floated in midair. Not a single one had turned red.

Killer had not acted, so no one had died?

Killer could not possibly choose not to act.

The final day was almost here. If Killer did not make a move, Killer could be exposed at any moment. That was far too dangerous.

Then her brain suddenly sank.

Yin Ge's thoughts immediately became utterly chaotic, as though she had gone three days and three nights without sleep.

What is this?!

Yin Ge was shocked, but in the next moment, everything before her went black.

An endless torrent of information crashed through her mind like a waterfall.

This intangible information was like one bubble after another, each containing scenes, people, and objects unfamiliar to Yin Ge.

Yin Ge wanted to clutch her head and scream, but trapped within Bride's maid's body, she could not even move a finger.

"Pfft..."

With a soft sound, the capillaries in Bride's maid's left eye socket ruptured, turning into a line of bloody tears that ran down and dripped onto the floor.

And the blood only flowed more and more.

Bride's maid was no longer staring at the window. Instead, she turned and walked into the living room.

"Bride's maid looks especially beautiful today!"

"Big sister, big sister, want some candy?"

"This girl is so poised and graceful, better than my daughter, hahaha."

"The wedding is about to happen. What is that brat doing?"

Everyone in the living room was talking, discussing the approaching wedding.

"Bang!!!"

Another sound of bursting rang out.

Bride's maid's entire left eye exploded completely, turning into a mixture of blood plasma and flesh that streamed down her face.

Yet everyone around her remained cheerful and festive, as if they could not see Bride's maid's abnormality at all.

Bride's maid wore a smile as she chatted with others the entire time. Sometimes, when gossip or something amusing came up, she would even cover her mouth and giggle.

Only, her eye socket had long since become a bloody, mangled hole. A solid-liquid mixture of white and red also flowed from her nose.

The eyeball in her socket had vanished without a trace, yet a blood vessel and nerve connected to it still dangled limply from the hollow, hanging beneath the lower eye socket and dripping blood.

Looking into that pitch-black hollow, one could faintly see pale, pulsating cranial nerves, as well as the brain that had just been blasted apart and turned into pulp.
