Background / History

The Bride lived in Qingnian Road/Youth Road Residential Complex and was preparing to marry the Groom on December 9. Her parents pressured her to surrender her betrothal gifts so they could buy a home for her younger brother. Her mother ultimately used threats of death to force her agreement. 17 20

She was intensely suspicious that the Groom was having an affair with the Bridesmaid. She assigned the Bridesmaid a room beside her own and watched her through the reflection from a neighboring building, refusing to let the Groom’s younger sister switch into that room. 12 20

Her younger brother secretly exploited these existing tensions. He used the Best Man’s phone to send flirtatious messages that framed the Bride for infidelity, then used the Bridesmaid’s phone to send similar messages to the Groom. His actions escalated the Bride’s conflicts with the Groom, the Bridesmaid, the Groom’s sister, and their parents. 19 20

Believing that everyone around her had betrayed or exploited her, the Bride prepared to jump from the building. Her younger brother tried to stop her but accidentally pushed her to her death; overwhelmed by guilt, he jumped after her. 19

Appearance

The Bride first manifests in a bright red, blood-soaked wedding dress. Her injuries match a fatal fall: her head hangs nearly severed from her neck, her scalp and dress are smeared with blood and brain matter, and her face is crushed beyond recognition. 2

Bride’s Son of Heaven Game

The Bride confronts Yin Ge immediately after the latter is pulled into the wedding scenario. She orders Yin Ge to “Find him” and “Kill him,” leading the participants to assume that they must expose her murderer. 2 3

Across the recreated days before her death, the Bride’s presence drives the group to identify a supposed killer each night. Their first major accusation wrongly targets the Groom, whom the Bride erases after merging into his body. 10 11

On the final night, the Bride merges into the Best Man after Yin Ge joins the group in accusing him. Yin Ge then uses her concealed Rule Disruption Law to erase the Bride’s younger brother, exposing him as the true killer and ending the game. 18 19 20

Persona Aftermath

Yin Ge later realizes that the Bride’s repeated question was not solely asking who killed her. The Bride was also asking who had been watching and controlling her through manufactured misunderstandings—her younger brother. 25

The Bride’s Peeping/Control Persona remains in Yin Ge after the game. It grants Yin Ge potent mirror-based observation and control, but the Bride’s memories and identity increasingly intrude on Yin Ge’s mind. 27 46 50
