History

Nuibari was wielded by the masked Kushimaru Kuriarare during the battle against Sarutobi Asuma and Might Duy. Kushimaru used its steel wire to conceal a razor-wire net underground, intending to sever Asuma's legs when the trap was pulled tight. 87

Following the defeat of Kirigakure's Seven Ninja Swordsmen, Asuma recovered Nuibari alongside the other swords. Unlike Kubikiribōchō, it could not repair itself through absorbed blood, so it required reforging after its damage in the battle. 87

Asuma later retained Nuibari as one of the weapons intended for Konoha's own Seven Ninja Swordsmen. By the operation at the Daimyo's Mansion, it was carried by one of the accompanying Anbu, completing Konoha's seven-swordsman lineup alongside Raiga, Kubikiribōchō, Shibuki, Exploding Blade Shibuki, and Kabutowari. 88 261

Nuibari is a needle-like sword connected to steel wire. Its wire can be concealed beneath the ground and arranged into a cutting net. 87
