Background

Dao Xuan was a transmigrated consciousness that awakened within the Four Symbols Banana Tree on Mount Buzhou. In the perception of the Heavenly Dao, he was simply the consciousness naturally born from the spiritual root; Dao Xuan himself retained knowledge of the Primordial World’s future calamities and the coming age of Saints. 1

After transforming into a human cultivator, he left Mount Buzhou to avoid the future collapse of the mountain and the dangers surrounding the Twelve Ancestral Witches. Before departing, he discovered and claimed the Primordial Gourd Vine, its five formed gourds, and the Nine Heavens Breath Soil. 1 2

Dao Xuan located the Three Immortal Islands in the Eastern Sea—Yingzhou, Fangzhang, and Penglai—and refined each island’s boundary stele. He later merged them into Chaos Island, established Chaos Palace as his dojo, and reconstructed their formations into the Four Symbols Heaven-Sealing Formation. 3 4 5 6

The discovery of the Sea-Calming Divine Pearls and Heaven-Piercing Jianmu convinced Dao Xuan to pursue World-Proving Dao: a path centered on opening, nurturing, and ultimately perfecting a world within himself. 5 6

He values long-term growth over immediate profit when doing so benefits his cultivation foundation.
