Dao Xuan's Dao was the World Dao! He would use the evolution of a world as his path to Dao-proving!
The world was him, and he was the world. Profound beyond profundity, wondrous beyond wonder! Yet having reached this step, Dao Xuan had also begun to sense the difficulty of World-Proving Dao.
Raising his Inner World from a Lesser Thousand World to a Middle Thousand World was manageable enough. But elevating a Middle Thousand World further and transforming it into a Greater Thousand World was many times more difficult.
Still, that was only natural. Going from a Lesser Thousand World to a Middle Thousand World merely allowed Dao Xuan to condense his own Dao and break through to the Primordial Golden Immortal realm.
But once the Middle Thousand World advanced again and became a Greater Thousand World, it would be the moment Dao Xuan proved his Dao and became a Hunyuan Daluo Golden Immortal.
Thus, the process was extraordinarily difficult, in no way inferior to Hongjun's Three-Corpse-Slaying Dao-Proving or Law-Proving Dao!
Speaking of which, Dao Xuan's World-Proving Dao was actually somewhat similar to Law-Proving Dao.
Perhaps the three thousand Great Daos all led to the same destination by different paths. That was why these various methods of Dao-proving shared certain similarities.
World-Proving Dao appeared on the surface to follow a resource-based path, but resources were merely an outward manifestation. Great Dao cultivation ultimately came down to the Dao itself.
A world absorbed all manner of resources as it grew, and throughout that process, it would also bear the fruits of various Great Daos.
Therefore, World-Proving Dao could actually be regarded as an alternative form of Law-Proving Dao. The only difference was that the process of comprehending Great Dao Laws was accomplished through the evolution of a world.
Moreover, the evolution of a world encompassed far too many Great Dao Laws.
It was unlike Law-Proving Dao, where one only needed to comprehend one or several Great Dao Laws, condense them into a Dao Fruit, and prove Hunyuan!
Yet although countless laws would evolve within a world through World-Proving Dao, it did not mean that all those laws had to advance in lockstep and be comprehended to extremely high realms before Dao Xuan could prove his Dao.
Instead, he had to sort out several laws that would serve as the main framework among those countless laws, then take them as his primary direction of comprehension.
As long as those laws were perfected, they could drive the other laws to improve as well. Once sufficient accumulation was reached, the world's advancement and the achievement of the Primordial Dao Fruit would naturally follow.
Now that Dao Xuan had become a Primordial Golden Immortal and condensed his own Great Dao, he had naturally sorted out this series of laws.
Dao Xuan had determined that the core laws composing his World Dao numbered ten: the Four Symbols Laws, Yin-Yang Law, Five Elements Law, Spacetime Law, Creation Law, Destruction Law, Stellar Law, Reincarnation Law, Karmic Law, and Destiny Law.
There was no need to say much about the Four Symbols Laws. They were the foundation of Dao Xuan's Great Dao. Without them, his Great Dao would collapse.
The other nine great laws each possessed their own profundities.
First, the Yin-Yang Law: solitary yin could not give birth, and solitary yang could not grow. Yin and yang generated and restrained each other. They formed the foundation of all changes in the world; the sun and moon, life and death, movement and stillness, and more all arose from them.
The Five Elements Law was a further evolution of the Four Symbols Laws. Metal, wood, water, fire, and earth formed the composition of all material things. They too generated and restrained one another, evolving mountains, rivers, plants, and spiritual energy between heaven and earth.
The Spacetime Law was the union of the Time Law and Space Law. Time governed the past, present, and future, while space governed dimensions, planes, and the territories of heaven and earth. Together, they were the vessel in which a world existed.
The Creation Law created, nurtured, and transformed all things. Living beings, mountains and rivers, spiritual roots, and treasures were all born from Creation.
The Destruction Law brought endings, collapse, and dissolution. Opposed to Creation, it nurtured new life through the destruction of old things, and together with the Creation Law, it formed the world's cycle.
The Stellar Law governed the movement of the sun, moon, and Stars, the celestial constellations, and starlight illuminating heaven and earth. It controlled celestial phenomena as well as the flow of fortune.
The Reincarnation Law mainly encompassed the Life Law and Death Law, forming a cycle between them and allowing true spirits to circulate. To a great extent, this reduced the burden on heaven and earth and prevented the balance of life and death from being disrupted.
The Karmic Law held that all things had causes and all things had effects. The actions of living beings planted karmic debts, and good and evil each received their due retribution. Even Saints found it difficult to transcend it completely.
The Destiny Law contained both fixed fate and variables. It deduced the rise and fall of living beings, races, and worlds, as well as the overarching trend hidden in the unseen. It could be changed, but never entirely shattered!
To be honest, after organizing so many laws, even Dao Xuan himself was somewhat alarmed.
Had World-Proving Dao not already entered the proper course, and had Dao Xuan not gradually experienced its many benefits, he would have considered changing to another method of Dao-proving.
After all, judging by the number of laws alone, the ten core laws of World-Proving Dao made it ten times as difficult as Law-Proving Dao.
Why go through so much trouble to pursue World-Proving Dao?
Could he not achieve Dao-proving through Law-Proving Dao just the same?
As for Three-Corpse-Slaying Dao-Proving and Merit-Proving Dao, there was even less need to mention them. Dao Xuan knew the flaws of Three-Corpse-Slaying Dao-Proving. As long as he avoided them, found three Innate Spiritual Treasures of the same origin, and finally achieved Dao-proving through Three Corpses Reunification, his chances would be considerable.
For Merit-Proving Dao, Dao Xuan also knew of the various great merit-making deeds in the Primordial World. He could ride their coattails or simply seize them outright, and he would likewise have a chance to prove his Dao.
But unless one personally set foot on this path, the benefits of World-Proving Dao could not be explained.
Although comprehending ten laws at once seemed difficult, it did not rely on one's personal comprehension to deduce and grasp them. It was primarily achieved through the world's evolution.
Law-Proving Dao might be limited by one's personal comprehension, leaving one forever stuck at a certain step and unable to advance.
But World-Proving Dao would not. As long as the world continued to exist, it could keep evolving. The various Great Dao Laws would intertwine and give rise to one another, and one day they would inevitably be completed.
Moreover, World-Proving Dao had another advantage: it could function as a world and perfect its laws through constant evolution.
Beyond that, Dao Xuan could be the world's Heavenly Dao and govern its evolution, while still remaining a living being. Like one pursuing Law-Proving Dao, he could also take the initiative to comprehend laws.
For example, during the two lectures at Zixiao Palace, Dao Xuan had actively comprehended numerous laws. His Inner World had benefited as a result, greatly accelerating the evolution of its various laws.
