Ten Laws of World-Proving Dao

A figure emerged from the Eye of Heavenly Dao and separated from Dao Xuan. His cultivation was now completely different from before.

As his Inner World advanced into a Middle Thousand World, Dao Xuan's cultivation also broke through to the Primordial Golden Immortal realm.

A Primordial Golden Immortal had already begun stepping onto the Hunyuan Dao. Compared to a Great Principle Golden Immortal, it was fundamentally different.

Whether in terms of mana or comprehension of Great Dao laws, it far surpassed the past. After all, beginning from the Primordial Golden Immortal realm, one truly possessed one's own Dao.

Dao Xuan's Dao was the World Dao! He took the evolution of a world as his path toward proving the Dao!

The world was him, and he was the world. Profound beyond profundity, wondrous beyond wonder! Yet having reached this point, Dao Xuan also began to feel the difficulty of World-Proving Dao.

Raising his Inner World from a Lesser Thousand World to a Middle Thousand World was still manageable. But elevating a Middle Thousand World further and transforming it into a Greater Thousand World was many times more difficult.

This was only natural. Advancing from a Lesser Thousand World to a Middle Thousand World merely allowed Dao Xuan to condense his own Dao and break through to the Primordial Golden Immortal realm.

But once the Middle Thousand World advanced again and became a Greater Thousand World, it would be the moment Dao Xuan proved the Dao and became a Hunyuan Daluo Golden Immortal.

Thus, this process was extraordinarily difficult, not the least bit inferior to Hongjun's Three-Corpse-Slaying Dao-Proving or Law-Proving Dao!

Speaking of which, Dao Xuan's World-Proving Dao was somewhat similar to Law-Proving Dao.

Perhaps the three thousand Great Daos all led to the same destination by different paths. Thus, these various methods of proving the Dao naturally had similarities.

Although World-Proving Dao appeared on the surface to be a path dependent on resources, resources were merely an outward appearance. Great Dao cultivation ultimately still came down to the word "Dao."

A world absorbed all manner of resources as it grew, and in the process, it bore one fruit of the Great Dao after another.

Therefore, World-Proving Dao could actually be regarded as an alternative form of Law-Proving Dao. It was simply that the process of "comprehending" Great Dao laws was accomplished through the evolution of a world.

Moreover, the evolution of a world encompassed far, far too many Great Dao laws.

Unlike Law-Proving Dao, where one only needed to comprehend one or several Great Dao laws, condense them into a Dao Fruit, and prove the Hunyuan Dao!

However, although a world undergoing World-Proving Dao would evolve countless laws, that did not mean all those countless laws had to advance in tandem and be comprehended to an extremely profound realm before Dao Xuan could prove the Dao.

Rather, among those countless laws, he had to sort out several that would serve as the main framework, then take those laws as his primary direction of comprehension.

As long as he perfected those laws, they could drive the other laws to improve as well. Once enough had accumulated, the world's advancement and the formation of the Primordial Dao Fruit would follow naturally.

Now that Dao Xuan had become a Primordial Golden Immortal and condensed his own Great Dao, he had naturally sorted out this series of laws.

Dao Xuan determined that the core laws comprising his "World Dao" numbered ten: the Four Symbols Laws, Yin-Yang Law, Five Elements Law, Spacetime Law, Creation Law, Destruction Law, Stellar Law, Reincarnation Law, Karmic Law, and Destiny Law.

The Four Symbols Laws went without saying. They were the foundation of Dao Xuan's Great Dao. Without them, his Great Dao would collapse.

The other nine great laws each possessed their own profundities.

First was the Yin-Yang Law: a lone yin could not give birth, and a lone yang could not grow. Yin and yang generated and restrained one another; they were the underlying foundation of all changes in the world. Sun and moon, life and death, motion and stillness—all arose from them.

The Five Elements Law was a further evolution of the Four Symbols Laws. Metal, wood, water, fire, and earth formed the substance of all things. They too generated and restrained one another, evolving into mountains, rivers, vegetation, and the spiritual energy of heaven and earth.

The Spacetime Law was the combination of the Time Law and Space Law. Time governed the past, present, and future, while space governed dimensions, planes, and the territories of heaven and earth. It was the vessel in which a world existed.

The Creation Law created, nurtured, and transformed all things. Living beings, mountains and rivers, spiritual roots, and treasures were all born from creation.

The Destruction Law brought endings, collapse, and dissipation. Opposed to creation, it nurtured new life through the destruction of old things, forming the world's cycle together with the Creation Law.

The Stellar Law governed the movement of the sun, moon, and stars, the celestial constellations, and starlight shining upon heaven and earth. It controlled celestial phenomena as well as the circulation of fortune.

The Reincarnation Law mainly encompassed the Life Law and Death Law, forming a cycle between them. It allowed true spirits to circulate, greatly easing the burden upon heaven and earth and preventing an imbalance between life and death.

The Karmic Law held that all things had causes, and all things had effects. The actions of living beings planted karmic debts, and good and evil received their due retribution. Even Saints found it difficult to completely transcend it.

The Destiny Law encompassed both fixed fate and variables. It deduced the rise and fall of living beings, races, and worlds—the overarching trend hidden in the unseen. It could be changed, but never entirely shattered!

To be honest, after sorting out so many laws, even Dao Xuan was somewhat startled.

If World-Proving Dao had not already entered the right track, and if Dao Xuan had not gradually come to experience its many benefits, he would have considered changing to another method of proving the Dao.

After all, judging from the number of laws alone, World-Proving Dao's ten core laws made it ten times as difficult as Law-Proving Dao.

Why go to such lengths to follow World-Proving Dao?

Could Law-Proving Dao not achieve the same result?

As for Three-Corpse-Slaying Dao-Proving and Merit-Proving Dao, there was even less need to mention them. Dao Xuan knew the flaws of Three-Corpse-Slaying Dao-Proving. As long as he avoided them and found three Innate Spiritual Treasures of the same origin, there was a great chance of proving the Dao through Three Corpses Reunification.

As for Merit-Proving Dao, Dao Xuan also knew of the great merit-granting deeds throughout the Primordial World. By taking advantage of them, or simply seizing them outright, he might also have a chance to prove the Dao.

Yet unless one personally set foot upon this path, the benefits of World-Proving Dao could not truly be described.

Although comprehending ten laws at once seemed difficult, this was not achieved through relying on one's own comprehension to deduce and understand them. Rather, it was mainly accomplished through the evolution of the world.

Law-Proving Dao might be limited by a person's comprehension, leaving one forever stuck at a certain step and unable to advance.

But World-Proving Dao would not. As long as the world continued to exist, it could continue evolving. The various Great Dao laws would intertwine and generate one another, and there would always come a day when they were completed.

Moreover, World-Proving Dao had another advantage: it could function as a world, continuously evolving to perfect its laws.

Beyond that, Dao Xuan could be the world's Heavenly Dao and preside over its evolution, while still being a living being himself. Like with Law-Proving Dao, he could also actively comprehend laws.

For example, during the two lectures at Zixiao Palace, Dao Xuan had actively comprehended numerous laws. His Inner World benefited as a result, greatly accelerating the evolution of its various laws.
