The five-element roots advanced the world, and Dao Xuan welcomed a new oceanic overlord while leaving the Roc and remaining roots to mature in their own time.

• Dao Xuan traded with Zhen Yuanzi for a Ginseng Fruit Tree branch, then shared insights on the Dao and persuaded him to abandon Three Corpses Severing and pursue Law-Proving Dao.
• Dao Xuan planted the branch in his Inner World and created the Myriad Transformations Treasure Lotus for Black Tortoise, then acquired branches from the Fusang Tree, Starfruit Tree, and Moon Laurel Tree after confronting Dijun, Taiyi, and Kunpeng.
• Dao Xuan completed the Three Talents Law and created three Divine Lamps to help the Four Divine Beasts expand and stabilize the Inner World.

• Dao Xuan discussed the Dao with Fuxi and Nuwa, deepening their understanding of Creation, Heavenly Secrets, and the Five Elements before attending Hongjun’s final lecture at Zixiao Palace.
• Hongjun merged with the Heavenly Dao and asked Dao Xuan to save him after the merger, while Dao Xuan collected Treasure-Dividing Cliff and later took Zhao Gongming’s twenty-four Sea-Calming Divine Pearls in exchange for two treasures.

• Dao Xuan explained his World-Proving method to Hongjun, who asked for his help escaping the Heavenly Dao, and later shared cultivation insights with Zhen Yuanzi and Hong Yun.
