Adults and Children
Vegeta and Son Goku have been in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber for over a day!
While everyone was still making preparations in full swing, Ryan from Sixth Universe seemed like a mountain, making it hard for them to breathe. It was also because of him that Vegeta, contrary to his usual behavior, chose to fuse with Son Goku. Of course, it's also possible that the two instances of Vegeta dressing up as a woman caused his sense of shame to explode.
At this time, apart from Vegeta, Son Goku, and Piccolo, everyone else was at Bulma's house, having a bonfire party.
The full moon hung high in the sky, and the stars shone brightly. Even Beerus and Whis were there. Their tense nerves, which had been strained during the day's busy training, seemed to have completely relaxed.
Beerus then raised his wine glass, clinked it against Son Wuling's, and downed the red wine in one gulp.
"I didn't expect you to surpass me so quickly, but it's still not enough, Wuling. Your strength is still a bit lacking compared to Whis's, much weaker than your adopted son!"
Son Wuling swirled the wine in his glass and chuckled, "There's nothing I can do. Lord Beerus has reached a temporary bottleneck and can't improve any further in the short term. Besides, we still have Goku and Vegeta."
Son Wuling downed his glass of red wine in one gulp. The calm and tranquility puzzled him. In his memory, Zamasu should have started causing trouble around this time, but why was there no movement? Had he been dealt with by the Z Fighters from the Future Timeline, or had some error occurred, or was it simply not time yet?
Rose held a glass of beverage, watching Son Wuling and Number 18 drinking red wine. Her clear, bright eyes were filled with curiosity. Was the wine really that good?
"Rose!"
At this moment, Trunks secretly brought out a bottle of red wine and beckoned to her, while Son Goten and Bulla waved to her from the side.
Rose downed her drink in one gulp, then, holding her glass, curiously walked over and secretly went to a secluded spot.
Trunks, as if he had received a fun toy, excitedly said, "Rose, Bulla, Goten, this is the wine that the adults drink. I took a bottle when no one was looking."
Son Goten's voice was still childlike, soft and cute, as he said, "Trunks, stealing is wrong, isn't it? My dad, mom, and brother Gohan all told me not to steal."
Bulla excitedly said, "This isn't stealing, Goten, it's taking! I took our own family's wine, what's wrong with that? Rose, aren't you curious? Even my dad and Uncle Wuling, those adults, drink wine, but they say it's bad for us kids."
Trunks chimed in, "Exactly, exactly. If it's bad for your health, why do all those adults drink alcohol? They say one thing to your face, but do another."
Rose seemed lost in thought. Besides the people around her, she often saw scenes of drinking in movies and TV dramas, especially at gatherings like this one.
"Pour me a glass, Trunks. I want to try what this is like. Why does Dad, Mom, and everyone else drink?"
Rose held up her wine glass, gesturing for Trunks to pour her some. She wanted to know what wine was and why those adults enjoyed drinking so much.
"Good..."
After Trunks poured Rose a glass of red wine, Rose drank it all in one gulp.
"Ugh... it felt burning hot after I drank it, it didn't taste good at all!"
Rose stuck out her tongue, looking pained; it wasn't nearly as delicious as she'd imagined.
"Really? But why are those adults drinking it with such relish?"
Bulla looked on with curiosity.
Son Goten then asked, "Is it because you didn't drink enough?"
"Really? Trunks, pour me another glass!"
Rose gestured for Trunks to pour her some wine, and before she knew it, she had finished the whole bottle.
Trunks shook the empty bottle, his face falling. "The whole bottle's gone."
At this moment, Rose walked unsteadily, a blush rose on her tender little face, and her blue eyes were somewhat unfocused.
Bulla asked with concern, "Are you alright, Rose? How are you feeling?"
"Hey-hey..."
Rose smiled, a smile completely different from her usual self, which startled Bulla.
"Oh no, Rose, you've drunk too much!"
"You drank too much!"
Son Goten's expression changed drastically. "Could it be like what they show on TV? She got drunk! Oh no! Rose's drunk! Trunks, what do we do?!"
Trunks also changed his mind; he imagined his parents discovering he had been secretly drinking and they would definitely not let him off the hook.
"Drunk..."
In Rose's vision, everything seemed exceptionally soft, the world spun around, and the full moon hanging in the starry sky seemed to be doubled.
"I don't know. I feel incredibly powerful, yet also incredibly weak. Is this what adults feel like? But why is the moon swaying? Bulla, Trunks, Goten, I'll fix the moon so it doesn't sway."
The Rose's two palms form the shape of a calyx and are placed at the waist.
"Turtle Style Qi Gong..."
Trunks, Son Goten, Bulla were trembling with fear, and looking at Rose, they were almost in tears.
Trunks shouted immediately, "Wait, Rose, wait a minute, stop!"
Bulla grabbed Trunks by the collar and shouted angrily, "It's over! What do we do now, Trunks? Rose's drunk!"
"Wave..."
With a final, clear, and youthful shout, Rose unleashed Kamehameha towards the full moon in the sky, and the bonfire party fell completely silent.
The towering Kamehameha illuminated the entire sky. To the astonishment of Son Wuling, the powerful Kamehameha struck the moon, turning it into dust once more and disappearing from their sight. Son Wuling and Bulma dropped their wine glasses, seemingly oblivious to what had happened.
Beerus was also dumbfounded. Everyone mechanically turned their heads and rushed over, where they saw Trunks, Bulla, Son Goten, Rose.
"Rose..."
Son Wuling's expression changed, and he quickly hugged Rose in his arms. The strong smell of alcohol on her body made it clear what she had just done.
Number 18 turned around and looked at Trunks, Bulla, Son Goten with a questioning gaze.
"They've been drinking? What happened? Trunks, Goten, Bulla? Why did Rose drink so much?"
Bulma and Chi-Chi approached with serious expressions, while Trunks, Son Goten, and Bulla trembled with fear.
At this moment, Rose, nestled in Son Wuling, struggled to extend her hand, her blue eyes now glazed over.
"Aunt Bulma, Aunt Chi-Chi, Trunks, Bulla, Goten have nothing to do with me. I was just curious because I saw you drinking, so I drank some too. Don't blame them, it's all my fault."
"Okay, I'm curious..."
Rose's words were like a knife, piercing Son Wuling and Android Number 18's hearts. Children's worldviews are too simple; they imitate adults, and even Rose is no exception.
"I will never drink again!"
Son Wuling made up his mind on the Number 18. For the sake of Rose, as parents, they must set an example. If they are two-faced, the relationship between parents and their children will gradually fade and they will lose trust in each other.
Son Wuling knew this well, and he would often set an example for Rose with Number 18, but he still overlooked it.
The bonfire party ended there; it had gotten so out of hand that it couldn't continue.
