Arc 1Hane’s Rise and the Uchiha’s Divide

Hane’s growing power and blunt challenges to Konoha’s leadership shaped the Uchiha Clan’s response to relocation and village hostility. After defeating Retsuyō, he persuaded him that the clan needed strength and unity, leaving Retsuyō sworn to follow him.

  • Hane began at the Ninja Academy, where he defended the Uchiha and challenged teacher Nomi Ikkaku’s account of the Will of Fire.
  • Hane refused to let Fugaku take Itachi to battle, then demonstrated his power by reshaping and dispersing Fugaku’s fire techniques.
  • Hane’s Azure Nether Art awakened a scarlet mark and new abilities, and he forged the Five Emperor Swords, whose fight with Fugaku revealed Itachi’s two-tomoe Sharingan to Mikoto.

Arc 2The Uchiha Stand Together

Hane strengthened the Uchiha through political reforms, businesses, and a loyal circle of young clan members while resisting Konoha’s leaders. The arc ends with the Uchiha exposing a secret Root base where children had been experimented on, as Sarutobi and the elders faced public questions.

  • Hane challenged Danzo over the canceled relocation funds and led the Uchiha in a peaceful march to the Hokage Building, where Fugaku secured compensation and agreed to join the Military Police Force.
  • Hane argued with Itachi about the Uchiha’s sacrifices for Konoha, then recruited a group of young clansmen and began using formations and pills to strengthen the clan.
  • Hane persuaded Shisui to join him after defeating him in a fight, and Shisui agreed to maintain the Third’s trust while passing information to Hane.

Arc 3The Uchiha Rise

Hane used Danzo’s crimes to seize leadership of the Uchiha and weaken the Hokage’s authority, while gaining support through reforms, business, and alliances. The arc ended with the clan expanding beyond Konoha as the village gathered to witness the execution of Case 414’s surviving criminals.

  • Hane exposed Danzo’s experiments and ordered the Uchiha to arrest him, then crushed Danzo and Root with a summoned Wind Ghost.
  • Hane revealed that Danzo had survived through Izanagi and used the incident to pressure Sarutobi, while Fugaku agreed to hand the clan leadership to his son.
  • Fugaku made Hane clan head, and Hane united the Uchiha, called for them to pursue control of Konoha, and led them to the Shinobi Conference.

Arc 4The Uchiha’s War and Triumph

Hane led the Uchiha to the battlefield, defeated Kumogakure, and forced Raikage A to apologize after devastating the village. He left with his companions for the Land of Fire’s capital to meet the daimyo.

  • After the Uchiha executions weakened Sarutobi’s faction, Hane accepted the order to lead Uchiha reinforcements to the front and arranged clan duties before departing.
