Hane moved the Ninja World into the Grand Line and expanded the Empire through conquest, diplomacy, and alliances. The volume left the Empire preparing to conquer the Four Blues as Dragon sought to return to the Marines and Ace, Luffy, and Sabo considered becoming adventurers.

Arc 9The Nine-Dragon Canopy

Hane united the Akatsuki and the Empire’s forces to defeat the Main World, then fused with the Ninja World and learned that Frieza’s civilization threatened it. He began preparing to move the planet beyond the starry sky, while a Saiyan ship set out on a mission for Frieza.

  • Naruto convinced Jiraiya, Tsunade, Nagato, and Akatsuki to join him in facing the future, as the Main and Branch Worlds began to collide and their duplicate inhabitants faded away.
  • Hane and his allies defeated the Main World’s forces, destroyed its moon and Otsutsuki clan, and brought the war to an end.
  • Hane reached full Dao Integration, repaired Adult Sasuke and Naruto’s world, and confronted Isshiki, Urashiki, Momoshiki, and Kinshiki to learn that Frieza ruled the Otsutsuki’s region.

Arc 10The Empire Enters the New World

Hane brought the Ninja World into the Grand Line, where his forces protected Nico Robin, seized control of an island, and defeated the Marines sent against them. As the God Tree opened a passage between worlds, Nagato’s team reached Mary Geoise and prepared to confront its people.

  • Hane captured Bardock and the Saiyans, then transported the Ninja World into a new star system and encountered Nico Robin in the Grand Line.
  • Hane offered Robin protection and a place in the Empire, while Uchiha forces took over the Iron Hand Gang and restored order across the island.
  • Aokiji came to retrieve Robin but was driven off by Izumi, Konan, and Nagato, prompting the Marines to investigate the group.
  • Tsunade treated civilians after an Imperial arsenal disaster, and Hane ordered an investigation that uncovered a corruption network and led to mass arrests and executions.

Arc 11The Empire’s Rising Tide

Nagato destroyed Mary Geoise and freed its slaves, while the Empire brought the Navy under its rule and began expanding its reach. The arc ended with Tsunade’s diplomatic mission to Amazon Lily meeting Gloriosa’s refusal to join the Empire.

  • Nagato and Akatsuki freed Hancock, Marigold, and Sanda, then devastated Mary Geoise with Six Paths Super Shinra Tensei as the Five Elders and other officials escaped.
  • After Mary Geoise’s destruction shook the world, Nagato returned to the Empire, and Hancock and her sisters joined a diplomatic journey to Amazon Lily.
  • Hane led the Empire’s fleet against Marine Headquarters, defeated Garp, Steel Bone Kong, and Kizaru, then secured the Marines’ submission and demonstrated the Empire’s advanced naval weapons.
  • The Empire annexed surrounding lands and prohibited piracy, while Sengoku and Garp investigated a Navy officer who had sent a slave ship toward Sabaody.

Arc 12The Empire Advances

The Empire expanded its reach by defeating pirates, gaining the Whitebeard Pirates and the Merfolk as allies, and announcing a campaign to conquer the Four Blues. The arc ended with Dragon returning to the Marines and Ace, Luffy, and Sabo considering becoming adventurers.

  • Hancock persuaded Gloriosa to establish diplomatic relations after the Imperial Fleet swiftly defeated a Super Giant Sea King, and Hane created a River Spirit to solve Amazon Lily’s reproduction problem.
  • Momousagi’s forces purged Sabaody Archipelago’s criminal networks and rescued slaves, while Uchiha Retsuyō brought Rayleigh to meet Hane.
  • Rayleigh told Hane and Robin that Joy Boy had become Imu, and Hane destroyed Golden Lion Shiki’s attacking fleet and killed him.
