Inside the office.

Shari gazed at the white clouds and blue sky outside the window, unable to keep from chuckling. He mused curiously, "How did that kid find out about Dark Pokémon? Everything involving Orre has clearly been sealed off. The only thing leaked to him was the name Shadow Team..."

About ten minutes passed.

He stood up, shut the office door, and used something unlike a wristwatch—more like an old button phone—to make a call.

Three seconds after the "beep beep beep," the other end picked up.

A deep male voice came through. "Did he really go looking for you?"

"Yep." Shari laughed twice.

The voice on the phone spoke again. "Did he tell you about Dark Team?"

"No, he didn't come looking for reinforcements. He came to ask questions." Shari replied with a smile.

The person on the other end sighed in relief. "Good thing he's not an idiot. It'd be terrible if something unexpected happened at such a critical moment... By the way, what did he ask you?"

At that, Shari's expression grew slightly solemn. "I was about to ask you—were you the ones who told him about Dark Pokémon?"

"Dark Pokémon!"

The person on the other end stopped breathing for a second, then said just as seriously, "No. There's no way we would tell him about that now. It's still too early for him!"

"If it wasn't you, then there's basically no one else," Shari said. "He said a friend he met at the Battle Tower Tournament told him."

"Impossible! How could people from Unova or Hoenn know about Orre?" That person seemed to have investigated Fred and the others long ago. "He lied!"

"Then where do you think he learned it from? He hasn't met any strangers either... those siblings?" Shari frowned.
